Happy Pinkie Pie with happy scenes! The Pony Music Video scene has slowed down a lot over the years, but there are still a bunch of people, new and old, putting their editing skills to to the test to create fun little videos for everyone to enjoy. Everfree Northwest recently ran a PMV contest, and submissions are slowly making their way on the internet now that people are returning from the convention.

We are less than a month away from the Netflix release of the Make Your Mark series, bringing us 8 episodes of G5 horses to delve into and explore. So far, we've really only had the Tell Your Tale shorts for any kind of regularly released episodic content despite coming up on a year with these new ponies, so really getting to know them with another fully fledged story might be what some of us need for that extra spark of interest.

One of the longest-running comics in the pony fandom has finally come to an end as Rarity, Get Your Sword has released its final chapter! Capitalizing on the Rarity fighting a crab meme from way back in the early days of the fandom, the project started with Pony-Berserker and over the years had several artists working on it in collaboration with the DoubleWBrothers, SaturdayMorningProject, Middy, dsana and labba94.While I am glad to see another pony project come to completion it is always a little sad when they do, especially for a project so old in the pony fandom.Click the pic above to see the whole thing!Twitter: Calpain

Rap continues to be a rarity in the pony fandom, but we have a new one by a musician named Gryf rhyming about our favorite G4 horse cartoon as a whole. I've been told the puns are cheesy and the flow is good by our rap music reviewer, so expect some early fandom feels out of it since that's what we specialized in back then. It even has a title like the old days.
