(Did Not Air) UK - Season 6 Episode 23 - Where the Apple Lies - Discussion (Did Not Air)

Well guys, the hectic week is here if the supposed schedule for the UK episodes is to be believed. First up in this crazy week is Where the Apple Lies, which we don't know too much about but there has been some speculation that we might get some good AJ backstory from this one. Either way, let's hope for a great episode guys!

First off: We don't know 100% if the episode will air tomorrow but we'll keep this here till we know or not. Stay tuned!

Whelp, looks like a dud you guys! Old episode being shown confirmed. Schedule still has not updated for tomorrow though with it still showing the finale as what they are running with so we'll see if that is true or not tomorrow.

Pinkie Pie Day in 3 Days!

Pinkie's Day is on the horizon and Pinkie is busy preparing for her special day! While Pinkie prepares that doesn't mean we get to sit back and relax, we need to pull together to make this day one Pinkie would love. So far we've received 28 emails, not too bad compared to some of our other appreciation days, but I know we can do better!

So before Pinkie Day arrives on October 7th, send all your Pinkie Pie art, music, stories, comics, animations, ect to [email protected] with Pinkie Pie Day in the subject header along with the type of material you are sending in for easier sorting.

EQD Season 6 Early Release Episode Plan - Expect Daily Posts for the Week!

We've waited and waited, but the schedule has yet to change. It looks like we really are getting the rest of the season this week instead of spread out through October. It's kind of a big rush of content, so here is the general plan here on EQD:

• Normal style episode posts nightly at 10:00 PST preparing for the 8:00 AM UK time / 12:00 AM PST release. 
• Stream links to whoever is streaming it
• Youtube and Daily Motion links when they come in
• That day will have spoilers in Drawfriend, so be sure to watch the episode first. It should be everywhere as always. / Spoilers will be posted behind links in drawfriend. If there are a lot, we will just label the entire post spoiler.
• The episode followup will be done the day after (So tonight's Wednesday episode will have a Thursday followup) 
• We will still have USA release parties for episodes when those air. 

Schedule changes have happened in the UK list. I'll include that below as it has some episode insights I know some of you avoid for spoilers sake.

SPOILER UPDATE: Due to demand, spoilers will be labeled still. We won't post them blatantly on the front page until US release, only after links. Drawfriend images will be behind links unless there are a ton of spoiler images. If that happens, we will simply put the season 6 tag on it and warn people from clicking.

Music: Crystarium - Doing Just Fine [Future Bass]

Crystarium has been releasing some pretty great tunes recently, and I've especially been enjoying their future bass releases. This one is no different, with some sultry vocals mixing in well with powerful supersaws and a really nice sounding snare. The vocal chops in the middle of the track help to keep it interesting, and they're very well done. Absolutely worth a listen!

$11 Nightmare Before Christmas Shirt 4 Hours Left

Another one of those 24 hour shirt sites has a Nightmare Before Christmas thing up today, for 11 instead of the usual 14. There are only 4 hours remaining on their counter, so if you want it, go get it before it shoots back to 20.

Ratings for Pony Point of View Arrive - Slight Increase

Ratings have arrive for last week's episode, showing an increase in viewership for Pony Point of View as it scores 189,000 viewers, up from Viva Las Pegasus' 142,000 viewers. I guess we're still doing some bouncing around and I wonder what views will be like if the UK shows the rest of the season this week as suspected? I do wonder if it will have much of an impact since most of these views are from the target demographic as I think most of us catch the show online after it airs.

I guess we'll have to see when the episodes air!

Music: Wind Wolf - Adventure Ahead! [Orchestral]

Wind Wolf has been somewhat quiet recently, with their last big pony track coming 10 months ago as part of the last Bronies For Good album. However, they've still been releasing other music worth checking out, and the other day just dropped an album. Here though, is a track they've produced as a part of the soundtrack for a game called Adventure of the Lunabolts. It's a pretty uplifting orchestral/soundtrack style track, and well worth a listen!

Official Confirmation: MLP Season 7 NOT Switching to Netflix Premiere, and Definitely Coming

Ever since Legend of Everfree was planned as a Netflix debut, rumors have been floating around from just about every corner of the ponynet that season 7 would be following suit. With Discovery Family ratings dipping as more people switch to online, and the tremendous success of Friendship is Magic on the web, it wasn't too far fetched.

Today, we put those rumors, and in some cases fears, to rest. After a direct query to Hasbro PR, we can officially confirm that Netflix will not be premiering Season 7. While we don't know if Discovery Family will still be the destination for it, this at least lets us know that we won't have to wait an extended period for a massive clump of episodes at once.

This is also technically our official season 7 confirmation in general, though I don't think many doubted that it was on the way. If you did, you can stop worrying. We are getting more pony. As for what the theme will be and if or how it will tie into the movie, we will find out soon.

Note: This does not mean that season 7 won't be on Netflix at all, just that pony won't be completely switching over to it for episode releases.
