Maren (Or Marenlicious) has been uploading ponies on Deviant Art since all the way back in 2012. This South Korean based artist has evolved tremendously over that time frame, going from super basic art to one of the most noticable styles in the fandom. His cartoon horses have an almost dough-like softness to them, with silky smooth lines and loads of appealing curves.
I'd say that warrants another artist spotlight, don't you?

This certainly didn't last long. Friendship is Magic is officially back on Netflix, after less than a day since it was pulled from the US version. Possibly they just wanted to renew it for the year, like they always do in August? Who knows.
We are also not sure for how long this will last, since the new removal date is currently set to September 6th/7th. But for now pony is back, and it's back up in the Australian version too, with the addition of Season 7, so I wouldn't worry too much about it leaving Netflix soon.

Welp, it looks like it actually happened. Following Australia and the UK earlier today, Netflix has officially pulled Friendship is Magic off of the US version of the site. The movie and Equestria Girls are still available, but no regular pone to be seen.
There is always still a chance that it will be re-added in the future. There could be some kind of contractual negotiation going on behind the scenes that is hitting a hangup or two. If it returns, we will let you all know as always.

These OC's. They are too much.
The Chinese brony community is growing. We don't often see much out of them content-wise for whatever reason, but it's out there somewhere, completely unsubmitted. This includes a convention. It's kind of interesting to see how they treat pones over there in their community.

We are reviving reports from both the UK and Australia that My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic has been removed from Netflix. This is after a month of following it's constant date changes. I'm not the only one that didn't expect it to actually get removed. I'm also probably not the only one that randomly plays "Every little thing She Does" every few days on there just to hear Starlight Glimmer be slightly insane~
The movie and Equestria Girls are still available, and there is a good chance FiM will still make a comeback later on considering it doesn't look like Hasbro has completely left the service.
I'll get a followup going once we enter it's scheduled removal date here in the states, as that should be midnight tonight if it's actually happening.

The Gameloft MLP app has seen another update with the introduction of the cahracters from Sire's Hollow. Stellar Flare, the salespony, librarians, and Firelight are all now in the game. You can't actually buy them yet, but that will probably come later with a quest or two.

Way back in September of 2017, a raffle took place during the first ever official HASCON. During the convention, a paid "Mane Event" happened, with the included perk of each attendee getting an OC created by Hasbro artists based on a short personality quiz (picture below the break).
Two lucky people would have those OC's added to the actual show, and since the season finale has officially aired in Sweden and Denmark, we finally get to see what said characters look like!
Since The Illustrious Q here on EQD actually won one of these slots, we have some information on that first pony up there. Unfortunately the rainbow filly is still a mystery. Hopefully we get a name for her later on.

That is some beautiful looking pixel art right there. The social game PonyClub has released a few new updates since we last covered it. A weather system has been added, with sunny days and relaxing thunder storms adding a bit of flavor to the world. Along with this, they've added a bunch of neat little tasks and adventures for you to do, along with a graphic overhaul via an updated shader system and lighting.

Dynamite Grizzly is king of the old-school techno sound, and here there's a showcase of their ability to produce some exceptional old-school drum & bass too. A fan-made app for Alexa has appeared that has popped up over on Amazon. It comes with two major categories:
- Equestria fact: Alexa randomly chooses a fact to tell. You can listen to just one, or as many as you like.
- Equestria trivia game: A series of 3 random questions. The goal, get all 3 correct. If you get some wrong, there's a bonus question if you want it. You should be able to play every day and always get a different combination of questions.
The app is in continued development with more trivia questions and facts being added over time. It also has a few secret quirks that pop up when the answer isn't something she recognizes.

I suppose the season technically ends tonight if we go for the worldwide releases, but we will still be covering the USA and AUS releases of course. Subs usually pop up in the morning for these regardless if you don't mind non-english voices.
