Greetings everyone! The Illustrious Q here to bring you the first of two interviews I conducted while attending HASCON this past weekend in Providence Rhode Island! Just who is this interview with? Why none other than Tyla Boucher, the Vice President of Global Brand Strategy & Marketing for My Little Pony.
Basically her job is to run the My Little Pony Franchise. But you don't have to take my word for it. You can hear it from her herself, as well as all sorts of information about bringing the land of Equestria to children around the world, after the break!

And just when you thought there wasn't going to be an more news coming out of HASCON, IDW Publishing went and delivered to us big time! EQD was there when IDW unveiled new issues for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Legends of Magic, and in a surprise announcement, a 2017 My Little Pony Holiday Special!
Apparently IDW likes to celebrate the Christmas season with the ponies. Anyways, this year's holiday special is written by James Asmus—whose previous writing credit on Friendship is Magic is From the Shadows in issues 51 – 53—with the main cover and interior illustrations by Brenda Hickey.

Source So here's the thing about Sphinxes: I don't get how they're cute. Like, obviously a cat is cute, and so the simplistic logic would follow that a giant cat would be giant-ly adorable. But have you ever considered the non-cute parts of a cat? Imagine giant hairballs. Giant litter boxes. Giant hemming and hawing about whether they really want to go outside or just sit in the pyramid entrance and contemplate existence. I could go on.The point is, I just don't think you all are thinking this through. Sure, you could make Sphinxy here chase a church bell on a rope and rub her belly with your entire body, but at what cost? Is it worth cleaning up after her with a backhoe, or having to solve a riddle every time you want to get her off your bed? I rest my case. And/or digress.Here's a followup of the latest pony episode or something.

Some really good rock stuff from Shad3z and Sable here! Shad3z' track is a soft rock piece that follows on from one of his releases last year, When The Tower Is Quiet, and sounds very similar in style, featuring lovely vocals and a mellow instrumental. In the second spot is a more aggressive piece from Sable Symphony which also features strong vocals, as well as some heavy guitar, and awesome melodies. Check them both below!
