The team over at Legends of Equestria is gearing up for their open access release event this Sunday, and have dropped off a big post about what to expect. Some takeaways from the massive forum post:
- Servers open at 12:01 AM EST on Sunday September 10th
- Files will be available on Saturday for early download
- A large flood of players may cause server issues
- There may be bugs, report them following this guide.
- You can find information on changes since their last public event here.
- Ancient Athamanes dungeon
- More manes, tails, and customisation options
- New area: Applewood
- New quest arc
- Crafting system

Be honest.. would you buy one?
Going out with an earlier than usual Drawfriend posts since we are about to get a bunch of HASCON panel posts up for the afternoon. We might not be able to live-blog them due to a ban on electronic devices at the events, but they will still be going up once compiled from literal handwritten notes. It's 2017! That's so... oldschool.

The battle is on! We had BronyCon last month, which means the video entries were pretty constant. Boatloads of PMVS, animations, and more were shown and posted. Which are the best? The community decides below.

Since today is looking pretty newsy with three live-blogged HASCON panels coming up back-to-back this afternoon, along with the flood of things this morning, we are going to shift Rarity Day to after HASCON.
This means your flood of Rarity will continue on the 11th, or Monday. It also gives all of you late people some extra time to create some Rarity for it! Drawings, Music, videos, and more submissions will be open throughout the weekend. To submit, simply title your email RARITY DAY followed by whatever the topic is (Art, Comic, Etc.)
Sorry to everyone that wanted to celebrate fashionmares today! We don't want to bury her though.

The new Equestria Girls dolls that were teased yesterday have been officially revealed. The first set includes the mane 6 and sunset, which is probably no surprise to anyone. What do you think of these vs. the old ones? They seem to be much more detailed.
Each one is 11" tall, sold separately, and the description from Hasbro's presser can be found below the break.

We have one extra toy update released with the Equestria Girls dolls reveal earlier. A "Glitter Glow" Celestia has been announced by Hasbro's toy department. She's 8 inches tall and her cutie mark activates four different patterns of LED lights in her body. Expect the usual tiaras and combs for accessories.
She will be available in Spring of 2018. Get her full presser below!

It's always exciting to see a new video from Argoaemon in the submit box. This dude is definitely at the top of the SFM game. I've never read the fanfic that this is based off of (Austraeoh), but from a purely animation and atmospheric perspective, it's once again amazing.

Are you guys ready for a day filled with somepony fabulous because Rarity certainly is! It is finally Rarity Day here on EqD and our most glamorous pony is ready for her turn in the spotlight. For those of you new to our character days we will have posts throughout the day dedicated to a certain pony, this time being Rarity.
