It's 100 Degrees Fahrenheit outside--where I am--right now. It's the official start of summer. With both those things in mind, toddland decided to reveal a follow-up exclusive to those t-shirts from a few days ago.
It's a sweatshirt. Which is more appropriate for the winter.
I see the appeal of being able to wear this type of swag all year round, and I am sure that the schedule for revealing this stuff was finalized a long time ago, but the timing on the reveal for this one is just plain terrible.
Anyways, the shirt retails for $36.00 USD and will be available both at the convention and for pre-order with pick-up at the con. You the pre-order idea will probably work out decently since it removes the transaction element which usually holds up the world's largest Line-Con.
As far as semi-obscure references to this fandom goes, I seriously did not expect Bob's Burgers to do two different shout outs for the same convention.

With a little over a year until it's big debut, the My Little Pony movie officially has it's own logo now. It's actually happening. Are you ready for cartoon horses on the mainstream big screen?
Expect the movie on October 6th of next year!

Silver has been great this year by providing some wonderful character analysis videos for us to post up! While this video on Celestia was made for last year's celebration of our precious Sun Butt, the discussion within still stands true, especially since Celestia hasn't had any development since this After the Fact was made.

After Calpain posted up that we needed submissions for Celestia day, the number of emails went from 17 to 154! You guys are absolutely crazy!
Quite a few artists decided to hop in and create things specifically for today too. Lots of new stuff to check out. I won't be compiling the best of Celestia art (including the giant swarms of links people sent, thanks for those!) since we already have a best of Celestia drawfriend post. The longest day of the year has dawned my friends and you know what that means: it's time to celebrate the Princess of the Sun! All day you can expect a number of posts dedicated to Sun Butt mixed in with our normal posts so let's make this an awesome day!
Speaking of awesome, you guys came through in a way I never expected. After our post went up asking for Celestia material we went from a paltry 11 emails to 143, with the number still rising. Also thank you all so much for labeling your emails so diligently, it helps me with sorting in way you might not realize, so thank you ever so much.
Now let's have some fun and bask in the glow of Celestia for the day!
