Magical Mystery Cure caused a lot of confusion in the fandom back in the day, causing quite a few arguments and a lot of discussion. This video that we dropped into the Roundup last night apparently answers a few questions we had about the episode and sparked enough discussion in the comments that I think this is worth a slot on the front page.

We almost went to a Gravity Falls panel, but the room filled up with a line still all the way around the outside hallway. Imagine that! It looks like we got a small bit a pony though. Is this new addition seen in the trailer released a shoutout to pony? I suppose we will just have to wait for the episode!

We have never had actual ages stated in the show, only hints at how old the mane 6 are. Equestria Girls places them in high school, but over in ponyland, they don't appear to be in any kind of classes still. Some people have pointed out that Twilight Sparkle is post-grad school even.

Sorry kids, retailers are already celebrating your return to school. I remember how painful those commercials are when I was a kid. Knowing that my summer break was slowly ticking away, one day at a time. The dread of the return of homework... bad times.

Well, the MLP comics have been invading School Libraries via the Scholastic Book Fairs for a little while now. Is it really any surprise that the comics are now bypassing the book fairs and going directly into the libraries?
ABDO Publishing, a book publisher that specializes in producing Library Bound Hardcover Edition Books for libraries all around the world. What this means for the MLP comics is that the comics are going to be reprinted as special
These aren't the collected editions of the comics that the trades have been releasing for the last few years. Issues 1–8 of the Friendship is Magic Series and issues 1–6 of the Micro Series are being individually republished. That's 14 Hardcover Library Books.
Issues 1–6 of the Micro Series (for this edition re-branded as Pony Tales) are available now and can be ordered individually on ABDO's website or as a complete set on either ABDO's website or on Amazon.com here.
Issues 1–8 of the Friendship is Magic series are currently not available to order and are expected to release in September of this year.
One last thing, these are hardcover editions of twenty-four page comics. You should expect the price of these comics to be four times the price of the monthly printed comic series.

Hasbro posted a correction to their earlier announcement yesterday that season 6 was airing at the end of the year. Turns out, it's actually the second half of season 5 hitting TV at the end of the year. Heres to hoping its not a huge break before it begins! Chances are they are banking on Equestria Girls to split up the break.

Twilight Sparkle and Moondancer's trip down memory lane slotted 283k viewers according to Nielsen digging website TV Media Insights. While much lower than Party Pooped and it's 369k, it did fall right on top of a major US holiday.
There also seems to be a huge lack of advertising this season for the last few episodes. I wonder if that has any kind of effect on it for the kids out there that swarm this stuff on Saturday morning?

Outside of Equestria Girls trailers, Hasbro has brought a whole bunch of it's 2015 lineup to show off at the show today. They also seem to have a rather large push for their Nightmare Nights designs. I wonder if this is a sign of things to come? That banner on the left up there literally reaches the ceiling.
Most of this stuff has already been shown at Toy Fair, but a few are upgraded models or complete versions of prototypes from that section.

Here at San Diego Comic Con, the Hasbro booth is once again covered in all things pony. Quite a big push for Equestria Girls is happening, and one of their displays just happened to have some never before scene footage. Unfortunately there wasn't any sound, but you can glean a lot from just watching the images.
