If you ask me to leave the Pacific Northwest, I will shoot you down in a heartbeat. I love Seattle more than I can say. As it turned out, a chance to attend Emerald City Comic-Con fell into my lap this year, so of course I had to go. "Big" Jim Miller, co-showrunner for Season 4, was in attendance with Tabitha St. Germain and Rainbow Rocks storyboard revisionist Katrina Hadley, as well as a whole mess of folks from the comics series!

A whole bunch of random bits of news have appeared from Discovery Family as a whole.
First off, the episode titles for the intro have been changed to The Cutie Map Part 1/2 as opposed to Cutie Markless revealed by Shout Factory a while back. Whether this is a permanent change or just a derp is still a mystery, but that's what the site says!
And in other news, from 3:00 AM all the way to the episode airing, we have a pony marathon going on. Following that, a G1 movie will air for those that want a blast to the past.
Prepare for pony! It's coming!

April Fools kinda got in the way of this EXTREMELY IMPORTANT discussion. A few days ago, we saw our very first FiM style horse in one of those Equestria Girls unreleased songs. What did you think of this?
And I think the biggest question: what would happen if this horse made it's way through the portal? would it pop out on the other side as a pony? Or something else entirely? Considering a pony turns into a human, when going to Earth, would a horse turn into a human traveling into Equestria?
This has opened up a whole can of worms! A Pandoras Box if you will. I for one am hoping for this:

Looking back at all our music posts these last few weeks, we really don't have a whole lot of Dubstep. Considering the Brony fandom was known for this genre for the longest time, that is actually surprising.
Anyway, get a bit more melodic version of that in the first slot from Igna, followed by a very Aviators style song from Sights Unseen. He just keeps on improving! Both below!

Outside of their actual designs, these two have been completely built by the fandom. I'd argue that they have more history now than even some of the secondary talking ponies in the show. We may or may not see them in a future episode doing more than just hanging in the background, but what kind of relationship, if any, will they have?
You guys voted, and the results are in. The #1 option was a simple friendship, followed by roommates, and a romantic relationship taking third. For once, full on shipping didn't win!

If you are like me, your favorite of the mane cast isn't actually your favorite pony to see an episode revolve around. Fluttershy is adorable, but Twilight Sparkles are always my favorite.

After almost a YEAR of no ponies at all, we finally have new episodes coming in a little over a day. Can you feel the energy coursing through the fandom? Is your submit box exploding like ours? I would hope so!

So, in case you guys didn't pick up on it (and we actually didn't realize too until the second video was up), Apple Bloomers was totally fan made. It was an April Fools joke within an April Fools joke. Consider me beyond impressed.
Would you watch something like that though? I probably would, even if the hands weirded me out a bit. If we go anthro, I prefer to keep hooves on both ends.

One day? It's really happening isn't it? I'm almost nervous!
The Cutie Mark Crusaders have gone through several phases over the years. I remember their earliest episodes and the reactions on the major boards of the time. People weren't too fond of the mane cast losing the spotlight. Over the years though this opinion has changed for the most part, though if that poll is any indication, you all still love some mane 6.
I think these three work best when they aren't a trio. Some of the best moments are when Rarity teams up with Sweetie Belle or Rainbow Dash with Scootaloo. I really enjoy seeing the sisterly reactions. That doesn't mean they haven't had some great episodes together. It's sort of a mixed bag though.
