I was outside earlier tonight and boy has it gotten chilly in the past couple weeks. Seeing pics like this with Fluttershy makes me wish it was spring again all the more. At least our Southern Hemisphere friends get a chance at some warm weather now!

Sorry for the delay with these my friends! Flying everywhere and then dealing with my birthday sort of put a wrench in my normal scheduling plans. But now we're back and we've got a nice variety of artists for you guys to view today; from traditional to digital we've got a bit for everyone today!
As usual, these posts are in similar style to the Tumblr Spotlights, a group of 3-5 artists will be spotlit each entry along with a small short description along with a small selection of their artwork! In order to make this feature work though we need people to suggest artists to us so make sure to send artists you think need some exposure to [email protected]. Please also include a short biography I can work with as well as what medium you work in most.
What sort of artists count? Suggestions should follow these criteria:
- No clop or extensive gore galleries as those typically violate our content guidelines. If the artist has a safe for work gallery separate from their not safe for work stuff they or their fans can submit the safe for work gallery. If there is a mix of SFW/NSFW on a gallery the decision whether or not to include them will be judged on a gallery to gallery basis.
- Don't be afraid to spotlight yourself as well as others!
- Artists of all types accepted -vector, OC, traditional, digital. As long as it is pony and of quality it has a chance of being spotlit.

While yesterday was an exciting news day for all of us with the announcement of the MLP Movie we do have some sad news to share today. Noelle Benbenuti, the writer behind Maud Pie last season, has had to deal with her mother passing away unexpectedly this past weekend.
As a memorial to her mother and to help out her 3 younger siblings she has started a GoFundMe page that people can donate. It's never easy to lose a parent and our thoughts are with Noelle tonight as she deals with this most unfortunate turn of events.

While Equestria Girls has been a thing for the past two years, many of us have been begging for a movie focused on the actual ponies. Unlike Equestria Girls, this one looks to be getting a whopping three years of hype to go with it. I guess that is why they are nailing that "Feature Length" tag line!
A lot can happen in the show with a time table like that. Who knows, maybe all the ponies really will become alicorns by then?
Horror movies aside, what do you want to see in the very first major Equestria based movie? Should the ponies go on an epic adventure, or do you want something more down to earth and slice of life?

While we still don't have a 100% official release date on any of these yet, Toywiz is listing the upcoming 4DE plushie lineup for pre-order. They are saying January, but they tend to estimate release dates if past listings are any indication. None of the entries include an image either, so we may see some updated promotional material in the future as well.

Something odd has popped up over at Target from Funko. While they already run those giant mystery mini sets with these guys in smaller sizes, the black style has been upgraded to a large version with a sparkly mane. If you want one, it might be a good idea to call Target first and see if they are in stock at the locations nearby.

The season 4 DVD from Shout Factory popped up a while ago on Amazon, but the specifics that it would include were not on the page for it. Shout Factory has dropped a press release pointing out everything in detail.
As expected, all the episodes will be included, with four discs total to hold them all. There won't be any commentary, but they do include the SDCC panel and the usual sing-a-longs (no list unfortunately).
Expect it to be available on December 2nd as an Amazon exclusive.

Buried in the huge My Little Pony movie news yesterday was a bit of inside information from the president over at Hasbro Studios, or more specifically a quote:
“It was really the catalyst for the re-imagining of that brand, and it was incredibly successful on our network,” Davis said. “It’s distributed in 180 countries globally. With that, we’ve used that to re-imagine the product line, look at our digital strategies, our social media strategies … It’s an exciting time to time to be a pony fan or a brony.”
It took a while to get to the point where the big wigs are talking about us as more than an oddity on the side of their little girls MLP target demo. Hopefully with the movie comes some even cooler stuff down the road! I have a feeling pony is going to be completely insane these next few years.
