A New Team of Ponies Is Coming From "BOOM!" Comics

A bit of comic news has arrived in between all the chaos of SDCC Friends Forever coverage. Amy Mebberson (Artist), Joana Lafuente (Colorist), Jodie Troutman (Letterer) and Seanan McGuire (writer) are working on a new series for BOOM! comics. These images of cute poni were posted on Instagram from Seanan. 

There aren't many details yet other than Issue #1 arriving in November. Hopefully we see more soon!

What are your thoughts and opinions on the new G6 character designs? Something you can get behind? For me, they feel a little over-styled. But maybe I'll come to like them more with time. G'morning, folks.
