2011
The first Newbie Artist Training Ground ended today, with 5673 amazing new ponies added to the mix. We saw a lot of artists continue onward to become absolutely amazing from these events. Hopefully the currently ongoing one keeps inspiring people to draw cartoon horses long into the future!
2012
We used to have a full on semi-truck wandering conventions broadcasting all sorts of pony content for everyone to enjoy. And Amy Keating Rogers revealed some cut pony content today.
2013
Technically, Marble Pie, Cloudy Quartz, Igneous Rock, and Limestone Pie were all revealed today. In a google book search of all locations.
2014
These strange Mystery Mini figures appeared today. At least a clear image of them. Before now we just had blurry stuff. This confirmed they were pitch black.
We also had early rumors that Transformers had an upcoming pony reference, which ended up being a pretty big one.
2015
Chinese knockoff plushies added some baby ponies to the mix, and one of my favorite episodes was announced! It's too bad we never get get more Minuette and Moondancer in any major capacity.
A little bit of art theft happened in an official Hasbro app. Though, this opened the whole can of worms about what we do as fan artists in general. Are we stealing their characters to draw? Can they then take vectors from the fandom for their stuff?
2016
This one is going to be quite the mess. I can already feel it.
