2011
This entire day was fanfics. Like 20 of them. EQD was weird back then. Also this comic because Madmax was amazing.
2012
Luna was still small and short maned back then, and we were already turning her into a gamer. This was one of the earliest animations with that concept.
2013
The Twilight with wings thing was being teased more and more, and the fandom was losing its collective mind over it.
2014
Filli Vanilli released, and this is the place to read the comments on it if you are curious about the fandom reaction for it, all 892 of them.
This was also deep into the Fluffle Puff era, with one of the more popular animations dropping today.
2015
This was a very busy day! Toy fair was still going on, and Shining Armor joined Cadance as a big reveal for upcoming Funko toys. We also got our first look at the huge Friendship is Magic collection apple family set.
And on the EQD front, we ran an event dedicated to writing shipping fanfics, and Sweet Velvet replaced Trixie for ponies that I'd bombard you with. Yat bat.
2016
Friendship is Epic was a sidescrolling game with badass pony battling. There is still a playable version of it out there even if it never completed.

And finally, this SFM animation was less than 30 seconds but ridiculously popular. Because Fluttershy.
2017
The first Shiny and Cadance Day! It was filled with loveponi too.
2018
This was the most popular post of the year here on EQD for 2018, and I'm very sorry.
