Boulder Media Drops Likely My Little Pony Movie Name on Website

Not too long ago we dropped what we thought was a possible name for the G5 movie thanks to a post by Netflix Malaysia's Twitter feed. Now it seems like we have the most likely candidate for a name thanks to Boulder Media's own website, the folks behind the animation of the movie. In a statement they posted to their site the movie is called My Little Pony: A New Generation.

Of course, like with the Netflix Malaysia info, I'm still going to call this tentative till we get more promotional material on the movie, but since this is on the website of Boulder Media itself there is a good chance this is it!

The My Little Pony Instagram Page Confirms That Hitch is a Sheriff

If his cutie mark wasn't enough of a hint, it's looking like Hitch is actually a sheriff according to a recent post over on the official My Little Pony instagram. As part of a speedpaint of a facepainting of him, they dropped the quote below:

Looking for a new face paint design for your little one? Create Hitch, the new sheriff on the block!

My Little Pony Omnibus Volume 7 Arrives January 2022

The 7th edition in the Omnibus series of comic collections has a new release date set according to it's publisher Penguin. Expect to find it dropping on the 18th of January in 2022. This one will cover all of the issues from #79-88. We will pop up the usual pre-order links once that arrives. It's still a long ways out.

The Discord Remix Went Viral On TikTok and We Completely Missed It

Have you ever felt completely disconnected from something you should definitely be connected to in some way? That's what happened in this case. Apparently the old Discord remix that we used to jam to ages ago has been going viral for the past month over on TikTok. According to Cracked, 330,000+ videos have been made with it playing in the background, used in everything from dance videos to making fun of the fact that it's a pony song.

Even The Living Tombstone himself did a video, reaching a whopping 8 million views and 1.7m likes, which you can find below.

Three New Books Appear for G5

Amazon has a bunch of new listings for future My Little Pony G5 books. They don't reveal anything too interesting other than the fact that they exist. G4 had so many random book offerings I think that's expected at this point.
