We had Celestia day pretty recently, but that doesn't mean we can't keep on celebrating the sun anyway! It's 110-120 degrees here and I still praise her!
It's that time of the month again, and people have started claiming their patreon rewards. We will probably be setting Discord integration up soon here, as most have migrated there from Skype at this point. Hopefully we can think of some cool stuff to do there outside of just the chat room!
As always, you guys rock for donating like this. With Australia jumping on board and episodes being even more obnoxious to keep things stable, it tends to be a mystery what will happen. Having this wall to lean on is super helpful.

More famous people tweeting about MLP! Tom Morello, who has been involved with Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, has posted that he has been listening to the MLP soundtrack alongside the likes of Gaga, Ozzy and Rush.

Some lovely music here from Vylet and Fellowship Symphonies. First up Vylet has a stripped down indie-style piece that focuses on the soulful vocals, but nevertheless has a wonderful instrumental as well with subtle guitar and some strong percussive and deep bass influences. The second piece from Fellowship Symphonies has some gorgeous composition, with full strings and soft piano, and is certainly the kind of piece you can just let wash over you with its smooth progression. Check out both wonderful tracks below!

We got some very important news out of San Diego Comic-Con today! With all the uncertainty about what Hasbro's plans were for SDCC, especially with HASCON happening Labor Day weekend in September, we had no idea if there was going to be a panel this year for My Little Pony.
Confirmation came out today from Comic-Con International as they released their schedule for Friday, July 21st. There will be a MLP Panel at SDCC this year! Be sure to check out the full description after the break!

Anyways folks, for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic #56 (releasing July 12th, 2017 in comic shops everywhere) the extended preview has been released by Comic Crusaders!
Just what can we expect to happen in Ember's debut comic adventure? I'm hoping for barbecued yaks, but more than likely this is a story starring Spike as he navigates the thin line between Dragon and Yak Cultures.

Looks like it isn't just us building up the hype here on EqD! Over on the Zero Media channel the movie trailer has risen above 1 million views in little more than a week. Lionsgate's channel has it at over 500k, Hasbro's channel at over 800k, our own upload of the trailer at about 45k, and countless smaller others with thousands of views.
Needless to say but the trailer seems to have garnered a lot of attention! With cumulative views at over 2.5 million and undoubtedly more from smaller channels and other channels I didn't see in my search, it looks like the movie is certainly on a lot of people's minds. Good news for the movie in October!

Some more news is about HASCON has come out that details what you can look forward to with Hasbro's "Brand Experiences." What is a Brand Experience? Well, it's Hasbro's way of organizing the content offered at HASCON into different categories, so it is easy for the attendee to tailor their convention experience to precisely their liking. Want to spend the weekend with the Transformers? G.I. Joe? The worlds of Star Wars and Marvel? HASCON has made that possible!
And of course HASCON has done the same for My Little Pony! You can find the full details about that below!

Something interesting has been popped up on the Hasbro Youtube channel. A new "Ponychat" series has started up revolving around kids basically reacting to episodes. It definitely looks scripted, but the inclusion of boys makes it just another step toward their attempts at shifting pony over to being appealing to both genders.

Some heavy stuff here! First up Sable Symphony, previously known as MetalPony, brings a powerful electronic/core-style track that combines screams, clean vocals, electronic elements and an aggressive instrumental to come together and give a pretty awesome piece about Starlight Glimmer. In the second slot is an instrumental piece from ShinZm that has some pretty neat melodies throughout, including good use of the melody from Find A Pet towards the end. Check them both out below the break!
