Patreon Supporter Update - Message on Patreon for Rewards!

As a good amount of you already know, we launched a patreon last month. You can read all about that over here! I don't want to take up too many slots here on EQD with it, so I'm commandeering the usually empty 10:00 point for an update.

As of today, the rewards for first month donators have officially begun. I'll be rolling them out over the next three days with the celebratory post for the first few catrgories going up with all their specific contributors. If you donated, we need you to contact us though!

For anyone expecting an award, please send a message over on Patreon on the actual EQD page. I wasn't sure if everyone saw the message there. If you were in the 2-5 pledges, send what you wanted linked. The same goes for any of the other slots. This is just the best way to get confirmation and match you up with your reward!

Thanks again to everyone that has donated so far! It's so humbling to see so many people supporting like this. Sometimes EQD feels a little bit disconnected just due to how much comes in and out, and I'm glad people like us enough to hop in here!

"The Magic Inside" Loses Out In Emmy Awards

In a shocker, it looks like MLP as lost out once again for Outstanding Original Song, losing out to "True Bromance" from the Dreamworks show "All Hail King Julien". Disappointing, but maybe there is always next year.

She's back! She teamed up with Glimglam! The world was SHAKEN TO IT'S CORE. I invoked EQD rule #37 and commandeered this followup DICTATOR STYLE.

I'll be square with you. This post has a lot of Trixie. You may even be overwhelmed. It's alright though. Who could hate Trixie now?  She is both humble and apologetic, as well as great and full of herself. It's the perfect combo. It hits all buttons.

BABScon Interview: Jeremy Whitley (MLP Comic Writer)

It's not every day that we're able to look into the minds of the MLP comic staff. While we've spoken to Jeremy Whitley in an EQD podcast a while back, I managed to meet up with him at BABScon for round two. After the break, check out our discussion on the differences between pony and other conventions, whether or not we're in the age of the bad-ass female character, and Jeremy's writing style with his other comic: "Princeless".

MY LITTLE PONY Movie Concept Slides from Russian Pony Convention (UPDATED)

We haven't had a chance to 100% fact check this just due to our lack of Russian correspondence, but as some of you have probably picked up over the last few years, the Russian pony fandom is gigantic. For the most part it's almost completely disconnected from us outside of a bit of crossover in music and art.

They ran a convention called PonyRadioCon, which apparently had a Hasbro backed presentation on the My Little Pony movie with concepts and merchandise included in a bunch of slides.

Again, we still need to fact check this, but for now, things seem Hasbroish enough. Especially from the presentation these original from (video below).
