Well that's a bummer. On their website, BUCK has announced that this year's convention is going to be their last one. There's a huge press release on their website, and we have it posted after the break. It's a shame that this year will be the final one, but I'm sure that some other convention will pop up over the years. Good luck to all of the staff at BUCK and thank you for the years of entertainment!

Back in December, Hasbro announced the "Friendship Club", a website with an optional signup for a welcome mailing. Here in January, the packs are finally arriving on people's doorsteps, filled with paper sized pony things.

We have a few images of the European My Little Pony magazine floating around this month. As announced in January, the Trixie figure is what most people are opening up, with a side magazine filled with random items joining it on store shelves in various locations. According to the Greatest and Most Powerful Edition, Shining Armor will be heading out next.
We are looking for images of the Trixie comic. If you have em, send them in!

This is a post idea a few people have suggested over the years that we have been reluctant to start up due to the complexity of the OC pony fandom, but I think it might be time. I've done a lot of research on various original characters in the fandom over the last few months (which is probably why they boosting drawfriend posts to huge numbers lately) and it makes me think this idea could actually work.
Since most OC's are completely art based, it would be a lot different than TheSlorg's pony spotlights. I need some ideas on how you all think they should be run. A good amount of them might just end up as art dumps of well designed cartoon horses, but I would like to do more with the concept.
For the beginning, we will probably stick to ones with large amounts of content (fanfiction, art, animations, etc), but venturing into other ideas is welcome too.
So go my minions! In the comments, either give some ideas on how you'd want to see these posts form, or just suggest a cool OC with lots of art!

When Lena Hall was announced for Ponycon a lot of you were hoping to hear her sing. Well, we've got some amazing news for you guys! Ponycon is going to be hosting a concert with not only Lena Hall, but Ashleigh Ball, Shannon Chan-Kent, Peter New, Vincent Tong, Kazumi Evans, and Ingrid Nilson! That's right, you all will be able to hear the singing voices of MLP preform for your pleasure as they sing a number of songs from musical theater, TV, and film.
