There have been a number of artists and writers for the MLP comics over the past couple years, but I was very surprised to see Jay Fosgitt commissioned for MLP comic work! Once again had my time before ponies surface again in this age of pony. When I was in college my sister used to commission quite a bit of work from him and I even have a custom piece given to me as a graduation gift from Jay thanks to my sis.
Today we've come to learn of an unfortunate accident involving Jay which resulted in the totaling of his car. Thankfully he wasn't hurt and neither was the other driver, but now he is without a car and the insurance held by the other driver can't cover the full cost.
Without a car and needing to get to work, Jay is opening up commissions and selling original artwork in order to help get him some wheels. Jay is a cool guy so any sort of help you guys can give would be amazing! Check on after the break for details on how to help!

You know, it would be sort of fun to just have a slice of life episode following the daily life of Cadence and Shining. What sort of problems do they run into in the Crystal Empire or what does a normal day look like? Could be fun and a great way to expand on their characters!

A Royal Glance

Since there seems to be quite a few new and returning people lately, I figured it might be a good time to compile up all of the season 5 information we have since it was revealed at SDCC last year. While we sit around twiddling our thumbs waiting for a release date (assuming they didn't lose the hard drive or something), lets see if we can't make some connections!
And if you want to keep following our season five coverage, be sure to bookmark the label for it. EQD can be a bit overwhelming, so I don't blame any of you that can't keep up!

McDonald's and ponies have had a great relationship since the very beginning of FiM. They were one of the first stores to give us really awesome looking toys back in season one and now it looks like relationship is extending to Equestria Girls according to toys.

We had some good times with The Hub when it was still truckin along last year. Everything from the horoscope ponies to their April Fools gags were great time wasters between episodes. The dismantling of the network came fast, with only a few months of warning before everything was shifted over to Discovery Family.
So what exactly went wrong? There were apparently a few major issues with it.
