I could have sworn that the US comic convention season ended less than 3 months ago with NYCC. Guess the season is starting early this year, and in full force judging by the four MLP Comic guests the folks at Long Beach Comic Expo have announced thus far!IDW MLP Artists Tony Fleecs & Agnes Garbowska; and IDW MLP Writers Christina Rice & Katie Cook will all be convention guests from February 28th – March 1st.Tickets are currently on sale at http://longbeachcomicexpo.com/If you happen to live or find yourself in the area of Los Angeles that weekend, you might want to consider checking it out. -
Big news out of the Big Apple tonight! Not only is PonyCon eager to announce the attendance of directors Jayson Thieseen and Jim Miller, but are happy to announce the premiere of a new season 5 trailer!
You've heard that right, a new trailer for season 5! If you guys are anywhere near the New York area now will be your time to attend a pony convention as you join these two awesome gentleman for a one hour panel (moderated by the science pony Calpain himself!).

Looks like more of the mystery behind why ponies and other Hasbro shows haven't been renewed on Netflix has been revealed. In a small blurb from WorldScreen it appears that Hasbro will be marketing its properties at NATPE, a huge conference for content creators and distributors.
Hasbro has plans to strengthen ties with old partners as well as reaching out to 'new digital partners in emerging markets'. Considering the conference will take place in Miami January 20-22 we should hear something soon about where these Hasbro shows end up. Stay tuned!

The super popular 'Don't Mine at Night' parody by JanAnimations has been uploaded by a fan in 60FPS! It's silky smooth and looks absolutely amazing!
Remember you need Chrome or Internet Explorer to use the 60FPS mode, but even if you can't it's worth checking out this classic again simply because it is awesome!
