Sorry for the delay of this spotlight everyone! I was traveling to a friend's place this past weekend and got busy. At any rate, we are indeed back for another edition of the Artist Spotlight! Filled with all sorts of artwork from any pony you can imagine. Check them out after the break.
As usual, these posts are in similar style to the Tumblr Spotlights, a group of 3-5 artists will be spotlit each entry along with a small short description along with a small selection of their artwork! In order to make this feature work though we need people to suggest artists to us so make sure to send artists you think need some exposure to [email protected]. Please also include a short biography I can work with as well as what medium you work in most.
What sort of artists count? Suggestions should follow these criteria:
- No clop or extensive gore galleries as those typically violate our content guidelines. If the artist has a safe for work gallery separate from their not safe for work stuff they or their fans can submit the safe for work gallery. If there is a mix of SFW/NSFW on a gallery the decision whether or not to include them will be judged on a gallery to gallery basis.
- Don't be afraid to spotlight yourself as well as others!
- Artists of all types accepted -vector, OC, traditional, digital. As long as it is pony and of quality it has a chance of being spotlit.

Here in EQDland, we like to follow what the show staffers are doing on the side while not building the world of pony. Turns out these writers actually do things without colorful equines sometimes!
I'm sure you have heard of M.A. Larson here, what with his swarm of fans on Twitter and entire "wings" campaign/joke that haunted him and our submit box for years. Poor guy. From that poll on the side bar, it looks like Magical Mystery Cure is dominating anyway though, so good things came of it anyway! We actually posted about his new Pennyroyal Academy project a few times over the last year or so. The folks at Penguin noticed this and wanted to share something neat for all of you to check out, or more specifically two chapters from the book!

With all these teleporty mirror thingies popping up around Equestria, it was only a matter of time before Twilight Sparkle ended up on Earth.
One of her main goals during her journeys is to collect a major technological item from each world. This is where you come in! Twilight Sparkle's portal has opened up inside YOUR room! She needs the the best example of human ingenuity and technological prowess to bring back with her to Equestria!

While we don't have anything set in stone in this one, Maud Pie's voice actress, Ingrid Nilson, is teasing something over on her Twitter page. Will we see her in Rainbow Rocks? Or perhaps a 3rd Equestria Girls movie long into the future? I guess we will find out in a week!

Spacelab9 has dropped a press release detailing these two vinyl records that popped up a few days ago. Some of the major points include:
- Hitting Stores on the 16th of this month, with online sales opening on the 30th
- Hot Topic has exclusivity on them.
- Celestia version on the left, Luna version on the right.
- Both albums contain the same 12 tracks, including The Gala Song, Love is in Bloom, and Becoming Popular (Promising the "best of" fan favorites).
- (Update: Looks like each one comes with an exclusive bonus track per Cele/Luna, my bad!)
