So, I was just thinking to myself that I hadn't really exploded my inbox in a while, when I was asked to host a contest! We're approaching 30 million page views (which was a stupidly huge number the last time I checked), and Jake Heritagu wants to make it the most memorable landmark yet! But he needs your help to do it. The short version is that if you send me comics and pictures of ponies celebrating the big event, you could potentially win prizes. Prizes like Steam purchases and drawings of your own request. Major, major props to Jake for fronting the prize pool out of his ownpocketsaddlebag (silly Phoe, ponies don't have pockets!). And for the Sweetie Belle fans out there, another part of that train set I posted a while back has popped up. This one was found, once again, on Taobao... the goddamn matrix of the internet.
And finally, an addition to the Glimmer Wings line of ponies. Unlike Rainbow Dash, this one at least fits...somewhat. At least she did at some point have wings in the show in this style.

For those of you out there looking to CATCH EM ALL™ , a few new blind bag ponies have popped up.
It's unclear if this system is going to continue to expand, but from what I've been hearing outside the USA, these things are selling ridiculously well. I'm curious about how they will be treated once they head to the states.
I'm a bit disappointed though. This is the PERFECT way to release some background ponies. Even if they don't have the fanon names, it would be amazing to see an Octavia or Bonbon pop up.

I figured I'd wait a few days to see if it was just another rogue mod causing trouble again, but apparently the issue continues to grow, now moving from /co/ to /b/.
Regardless of the pony threads that are going relatively strong over there right now, it sounds like random bannings are still happening.

I'm not sure how 4chan's heirarchy runs, but moot was the one that fixed it last time, so moot is probably the one to contact this time. There was even a rumor of an actual /pony/ board in progress a while back, but that apparently poofed.
If you do get banned, and don't know anything about proxies/rotating IP addresses, you might as well hit up Ponychan(Tame) or Fimchan(Clop).
I'm sure it will all blow over again eventually anyway as 4chan mods get bored.

I have to admit... I didn't really understand the potato thing much at first. Why does the demigod of ponydom roll with a golden russet avatar?
After a bit of research, I found out just how noble potatoes actually are. Have some interesting potato facts:
- The average American eats 126 pounds of potatoes a year. I'm pretty sure I double that though with how many ridiculously delicious french fries I consume.
- New York consumes more potatoes than any other state.
- In 1802, Thomas Jefferson was the first person to serve French Fries in the United States
- All 50 states grow potatoes
- The largest potato ever grown was a whopping 7 pounds
- Potatoes are in fact vegetables
