Anonfilly was being banned by 4chan itself today, while the pony fandom won TV Guide's best fanbase, and Derpy dominated the toy search for 2012!

Ponies won TV Guides best fanbase, and Derpy Hooves Toy dominated the 2012 google search for toys.
2013
Starbound got a pony mod, and TY released a line of plushies.
2014
This Master of Parasprites game never released, but the OC was really cool looking. That's a good 3D Model!
Not a whole lot went on, so have some paper pony!
2016
Rarity and Pinkie Pie ended up in Target musical ads.
2017
4chan started banning the character "anonfilly" causing a massive outcry among members of the My Little Pony board. This spilled over into the wider fandom, where the character had already taken a stranglehold in various bits of fanart and comics.
In the end, they crumbled, and Anonfilly returned. She's still one of the 4chan OC characters all these years later.
