Today we entered the very first pony hiatus with fears around the fandom that things would die off. They did not.

2011
The first hiatus was officially here. No new episodes meant the fandom was unsure of what would become of us while we waited for a second season.
Turns out, the show only got even more ridiculously popular during this time. It was nonstop growth all the way until 2013 for pretty much everything!
And the pony staff were already hyping us up for a fall release.
Spitfire ended up being male in Brazil, setting another fire for all the fans of her.
2013
This is a pretty neat Fluttershy animation thing. We also had the reveal of the Build a Bear Spike and Twilight today.
2014
Not much happened today, but this was a neat video about fandoms in general.
2015
Aurora's Celestia plushie was revealed today. A pony that barely got any plush love over the years.
2016
Newbie Dash aired today! An episode with mixed reviews from the fandom at large.
2017
We also had Parental Glideance, the opposite of the one above with loads of praise. Particularly for Windy Whistles.
2018
Not much happened, so have a neat YTPMV!
