Undertale Fever was a big deal in the pony fandom, so of course we ponified it! Along with that, episodes started leaking early and lots of fan stuff.

2011
The "Quest" meme was happening around this time, and of course a bunch of ponies got the Quest treatment. Pinkiequest here of course.
2012
The ending of the pony sketches from Lauren Faust was happening now, and already some of them were nearing 10k! All in all, people paid $18,041 for them. I wonder what they'd be worth these days?
2013
Build a Bear wanted to know everyone's favorite ponies and did a poll for it. The list was pretty much complete by the end of their plushie run.
2014
LIFE had a pony game that was cancelled, then revived randomly. Toywiz did pre-orders for it.
2015
I can't believe this song is basically a classic now. This was a really cool PMV collab dedicated to by Madeon's "The City"
2016
On Your Marks aired today! Yay CMC.
2017
We were waiting for season 7 and discussing bats. Good discussion. Never did get bats. Sad times.
2018
Thus begun the early pony episode releases. While the fandom is pretty old at this point, getting episodes weekly and having 7 full days to digest them always spurred a ton of fan content. When they dumped early with multiple at a time, it always stifled the amount of stuff people would do.
It's something we see a lot here in G5. Netflix dropped the entire set of Make Your Mark on us all at once and very little of each episode was taken and fan-worked. It's a huge shame.
