Artist: Pusspuss Those poll results earlier seem to hint that a large chunk of the people visiting this site would give up everything they have now for a one-way ticket to horseland. It's kind of a fascinating result, and definitely shows the audience of more dedicated fans we have here on the site.
So, you finally got your portal and you are in Equestria. You've been welcomed, but you don't get a free ride. How do you make yourself useful to the citizens of horseland? What kind of job would you do and what would your new goals be now that you've finally made it?

Description:As far as Rainbow's usually concerned, innovation doesn't come fast enough. The future should be now, and anypony who isn't willing to greet it head-on just isn't moving with the times. So getting what's effectively a new way of reading? Awesome! But it's not good enough yet. She needs it to work at her standards. And fortunately, she just happens to know a mechanic who can make a few adjustments.
Ratchette (usually) appreciates the business. But anypony who regularly deals with the weather coordinator has to expect a certain amount of... fallout.

Artist: Rocket-Lawnchair Tempest Shadow hasn't had a lot of love in the theme day department, and she joins a bunch of other movie-specific characters that are completely unloved around here. Time to change that with a new one-time event celebrating all things warrior horse and any other movie or special characters that haven't been absorbed into any other theme day yet!
Your mission is to create things based around Tempest or the various other underappreciated G4 characters that took part in official pony content outside the series. This includes the My Little Pony Movie, Rainbow Roadtrip, Best Gift Ever, and others. We will have compilations throughout the day showcasing the best of the best creations over the last few years for these guys, along with the usual Open Art posts and places where you can submit stuff for the event.
To send things in, fire off an email with TEMPEST AND FRIENDS DAY as the subject followed by what it is, so TEMPEST AND FRIENDS DAY - OPEN ART for the open art post. Emails should be [email protected].
Now go! Draw Tempest shadow, or Kerfuffle, or Barley Barrel, or whoever else! There are so many 1 timee characters that got almost no love, and we need to celebrate them. Submissions close for the day on August 28th at 1:00 AM!

The team over at mane6 has annunced a brand new character heading for Them's Fightin' Herds! Introducing Texas, a huge bill and the first male character of their fighting cast. He is part of their planned release of four new characters included in the season pass, with the final two launching in 2023.
