Artist: JanadashieJust a final heads up for those who might have missed our prior posts about the NATG! It's back once again for its 12th run and will be starting tomorrow on the blog at 9pm PST, the same as last year. I'm really excited to see what you all come up with this year and I hope you all have a lot of fun as well. After the past year, some fun would be really appreciated, right?
For those of you who have never participated in our NATG events before it's basically an event where you can try your hooves out on creating art for the first time and improving over the course of 30 odd days.
Artists who are veterans are more than welcome to join as well! Remember, you can never stop improving!
As for what sort of artwork you can submit, you're welcome to submit digital art, ponies made on lined paper, paintings, elaborate origami ponies, chalk board ponies, animations, pixel art or even SFM ponies like we did last year.
We're pretty open on what can be accepted just as long as it matches the theme in some way shape or form.
Finally, all entries submitted for each theme day have to be a new creation of some sort. We won't be strictly policing this, but the way I see it is that if you're submitting old work you're not giving yourself a chance to improve so you're only hurting yourself.
Once NATG arrives I'll have a more detailed post on how to submit, where to view, and what to expect out of the schedule. So until then, you guys have a couple weeks or so to prepare and make time for it, so get hyped, get those pencils or drawing pads ready and I'll see you all then.

The Everfree Team has returned to pony after a brief journey into anthro, and it's just as catchy and filled with dancing horses as it always is, with the chaos of characters from all the fandoms and SFM models bent into freaky positions as always. Also cosplay. There's cosplay. It's pretty crazy.

Earlier in the month we posted about an AI program called Dall-E Mini that could generate ponies surprisingly well. It got to a point where people have been spamming Twitter and other places with their weird concoctions pretty much nonstop.
The Discord staff here decided to run an event asking people to send in their weird combinations. In the end, they had 32 submissions, some pretty simple and some super interesting! It's really impressive what this AI can do. I've attached them all below if you are curious what they came up with.
As for our side, we want to run a little event here too! Your mission is to go and generate an AI pony scene. It can be anything you want. Screencap the best generation and send it in with what phrase you used and a name (if you don't include a name you will just be called Anon). We will create a gallery in the end with everything people make! Fire those submissions off to [email protected] with DALL-E EVENT as the email subject. One submission per person, so make it count!

Both Friendship is Magic and G5 take a lot of inspiration from real life music for their jingles. We saw it with Sprout's song in the "A New Generation", and of Daniel Ingram regularly cited famous songs and musical styles for his work. We've hit just about every genre out there at this point.
If you had an unlimited budget, what real world song would you like to see get the pony treatment? Who would be your lead singer and how would it play out when animated?

Amazon has listed up one of the Mini World sets revealed a few months ago. Originally these were supposed to drop in August, but Amazon has this one set with a July 16 starting date, though it ranges into August.

A giant Fluttershy and Applejack have made an appearance at a mall inthe Phillipines where a mini Toy Fair event happened the other day. It look like it was a hybrid event with both G5 and G4 toys and signage in attendance, but really the most relevent part is these crazy costumes. I'll toss more images below if you are curious!
