Whirlwind's new EP got a successful launch, I repeat, Whirlwind's new EP got a successful launch! "The Mission" is a new concept-powered EP by the drummer and producer, about The Equestria Space program commissioning him "to embark a daring journey into the unknown atmospheres of the Cosmos" as the description says. The starry and mystical Liquid DnB beauties throughout the EP are definitely reflecting the mysteries and beauty of space, while the Orchestral pieces are adding deep story-telling through music and with the help of vocal samples too! The intro track is especially emotional for me, calling back to past music-powered "journeys" such as in Skyrim, with the moment at 0:31 feeling just like when you get out of that tutorial cave! As for the track Solar Surf, it's just my favorite from the EP, with such emotional moments and musical style, reminding me of Synthis or even Jastrian!

After listening to this nonstop for the last 2 days, I think it's time to discuss Sweetie Bot!
Friendship is Witchcraft introduced the idea as a joke ages ago, and over the years it has kinda spawned a very small mini-fandom of it's own. It grows and dies based on what is released within, but the concept still remains.
Our favorite hypothetical Hasbro executive has returned once again from a board meeting demanding more technological presence in pony to appeal to zoomers. He recommends Sweetie Bot. How would you make it work? Do you go all in turning her into a badass robot on the run trying to discover why she exists? Or is it more down to earth and silly like the Friendship is Witchcraft version?

Rubber just released a whole EP full of heartfelt rap, pony lyrics, pony vocal samples, and dark instrumentals fitting for the weigh of the messages expressed here. Nevermourn did the mixing and mastering for most tracks, while TCB did the instrumental of the last track Thalassophobia, and there are also vocal collabs with Ditherer and ZD! Rubber has drawn the cover art of the EP himself too, and it sure is expressing a lot. The EP is available both on YouTube (videos embedded below the break) and on Soundcloud. Let's wish Rubber the best and send him our support everypony! That's what we do, for we are bronies!
