You know, for a prompt that invited darkness there sure was a lot of cute thrown in as well. I always love seeing how different you all can take these prompts and how you make them your own, well done! It just makes me all the more enthusiastic about the prompts yet to come.
Speaking of today's prompt, we brought in 94 ponies today which brings us up to 2522 ponies in total. Keep up the good work everyone! The numbers may have dropped a little but we're still on pace to beat last year!
Now, as of late I have been subjecting our ponies to the weird, the supernatural, and even dire danger so I think they (and our artists) need a little bit of a rest with some lightheartedness. After all, that is one of the big reasons we love ponies, right? So for today I'd like you guys to Draw a pony cheering up a friend / Draw a pony turning a frown upside down.

Max Image Resolution is 2000x2000! Resize your pictures to make sure they are the appropriate size, any image software should be able to help you.
Animations do not animate when sent through the compiler! Include some text with your submitted animation that people should follow your links to the source to see the animation in full.
Remember, our compiler for the old prompt is up a few hours even after this post goes up with the new prompt so feel free to submit your submission to the previous day's submitter!

We've corrupted these mares.
The fandom has taken Friendship is Magic and twisted it to all sorts of weird routes in our quest to plug ponies into absolutely everything. I know some people to this day that still despise the Lyra human obsession, or think Derpy having a daughter is boring.
Which fanon really grinds your gears? What one would you delete entirely if you could?

Dandelion not just wrote a song about a Dashie reflecting while gazing at the Shorelines And Open Skies... he also wrote a whole poem about it, that Dashie would have thought up there! It's in the description on YouTube, and it feels so wonderful to imagine that scene and moment, Dashie's new character depth as imagined by the musician, and also personally I can relate a lot since I like to go on night strolls by the shoreline for emotional moments too, with music in my ears!
