Luna Day Has Come to an End!

Even the princess of the night needs to get some sleep. Hopefully you all enjoyed celebrating the moon today. I know I did.

The next pony theme day will be on the 16th of January starring Spike. Feel free to get started on drawing for open art, as anything created from now until then will be eligible. For everything else, expect the usual best-of's.

New Mini Figure Line Listed from Zag Toys

A company called Zag Toys has Popped this up on their project section. Each of the mane 6 plus Trixie (good choice!) apparently have molded figures. The image they are using says now available, but I don't see a purchase link anywhere, or even pictures of the actual toys. They only have the render up.

We will get more information out if it becomes available. For now, hopefully we have a new molded line coming! Maybe this one will make it past the mane 6? At least we get some Trixie this time.

Episode Rewatch - MLP Season 1 Episode 17-18 - Stare Master / Showstoppers

We had back-to-back Cutie Mark Crusader episodes with Stare Master and Show Stoppers. Unfortunately back then people weren't too thrilled about them taking episodes away from our beloved mane 6. Little did our young and impressionable pony loving selves know, that 6 seasons later they'd all become kirin and instantly shoot to the top of everyone's favorite character list.

Yep that's exactly how it happened.

The episodes start at 10:00 AM PST.  Then we continue Luna Day~

Almost as soon as Luna was introduced to the show she has been a beloved character on the show. Even though she didn't appear again till a year later, her absence just seemed to make her popularity grow, the fandom drawing on the blank slate that was Luna to make Luna into a fully fleshed character. Whether she was a gamer, a brooder, or what have you, we all seemed to have our favorite Luna headcanons back then which carry on even today.

Of course, once we started to see more Luna in the show we started to get a personality for her, diverging in some ways from the Luna we created for ourselves back when we didn't know her all too well. 

So what do you all think of how her character progressed during the show? Did you like the Luna we were given or do you still prefer a depiction of Luna by the fandom (or is it a mix of both)? What episodes would you have liked to have seen Luna in?
