A gem of an album, this 31-tracks powerhouse by Slitherkitty has gone under the radar of many of us, and I thank DAϟH for the heads-up! An impressive relentless exhibition of crafty electronic experiments, and clearly inspired by some Soundtrack styles that you may recognize throughout the album, too. With a melodic and progressive style, and hints of FF7 OST and even Touhou OST at times, the album also got amazing Pinkie vocal chops with track #2, and tracks dedicated to characters such as Chrysalis with track #21 (that has got a callback to This Day Aria and Chrysalis vocal samples), Alicorn Trixie with #25, Flurry "Fury" Heart with #26, Cozy Glow with #28, "Somnivore" Tantabus with the "Final Boss" track #29 (that has got vocal samples of that episode), and Lyra with #30! And if you played J-RPGs, you just know that last boss was hiding another in one epic and deep story twist, so there's a "True Final Boss" track too, of more than 12 minutes! Such an amazing tribute from start to finish!

We were going to wait for a recording or clip of this one, but it hasn't shown up yet. Apparently Robot Chicken did a brony skit a few days ago during Season 10, episode 7. It was a gag about a "Brodeo" where people had to ride brony cosplayers in a rodeo. One of the bronies broke their leg, and the rider had to put him down.
I'll pop it in here if it ends up appearing online somewhere. For now, you can watch it on the Adult Swim website with a cable package, or at some of those other sites.

A gorgeous and bright remix of the classic Hearts as Strong as Horses, this new release by Paloris has been crafted with love and the voices of our beloved crusaders are echoing throughout the track along the beautiful synths, with the original vocals as well as vocal chops! Danceable and cute all the way, and the 2D sprites of the CMCs in the visuals only make it cuter!

It's still overwhelming how many of these we got and how much people wrote. I was expecting small blurbs from everyone, not gigantic multi-page essays! You all sure are crazy sometimes.
Part 3 is coming since we got bombarded with another 80 of these after the last post. Expect that once it's all collected!
The event is now closed to submissions. We will probably have similiar writing things in the future though.

For those collecting the seasonal DVD's that have been releasing for the last 7 or so years, we apparently don't have anything planned from Shout Factory for the 8th or 9th seasons. This could change in the near future, but for now we will have to stick to digital releases.
Maybe they will get some blu-ray love going instead? That would be nice considering DVD's are pretty much dinosaurs these days.
