Remember that most delightful surprise, Broken Wings the spiritual successor to Rainbow Factory and Awoken (among others) that was previously posted? Well, PonyFireStone saw fit to remix it to our greatest delight, coming back with a new pony release after years! Such a high-quality remix is so appreciated, and the original vocals by Koa get sublimated all over again by such a deep and emotional Electronic arrangement, with its share of wubby wonders!

I suppose this will be the last time we really have a reason to report on DHX now that they no longer have the pony contract. It was a pretty great decade with them though!
DHX is apparently rebranding to a new company called "WildBrain" covering their entire organization. As is the norm with these pressers, we have the usual corporate jargon to explain why they are doing it:
“Rebranding as WildBrain embraces our commitment to creativity, imagination and innovation, and our 360° approach to brand management. For many years, our WildBrain group has been at the leading edge of the digital media business. As that landscape continues to rapidly evolve, now is time to unify all the parts of our Company under both the name and entrepreneurial culture that WildBrain represents.”

Over the course over the past few weeks Discovery Family has posted several interviews with the villains of season 9. Seemingly they are adding more every weekend so it's likely we will see more of these in the upcoming weeks. It's a nice little bit of non-canon fun with the villains as we slowly get closer to the North American airdate of the finale.

Inspired by Helena's lyrics, our beloved musician went on to make a tribute to Pinkie and her character depth, including the famous Pinkamena persona! Through the deep lyrics and lovely-as-ever vocals, Moon Flame is doing wonders once again, and what really makes this track special for me (or should I say even more special) is the very creative, progressive Electronic composition that is really quite impressive, and reminding me of the style of some OST tracks I know. And perhaps you will get what I mean by listening to this track! An upbeat, deep, amazing all the way release!

A momentous release for me for sure, this new favorite of mine is calling forth the emotional power of pony vocal chops so well. A DnB VIP of the original Shining Free that was already retelling the events of the memorable episode Tanks for the Memories, this version 2.0 takes it steps further with melodic vocal chops of untold emotion, a play on vocal samples, a creative yet classy DnB arrangement, and making for an even greater tribute to the episode, a full-fledged PMV to accompany the song..! Spikey Wikey aka Tacos definitely went all-out and the result of his work makes for a lot of emotion, and a wonderful moment in appreciation among the ponies... For more emotional music using that kind of melodic and pitch-shifted vocal chops, check out this classic that is also my favorite pony track ever! And look out for Spikey Wikey's upcoming album "Party's Over", dropping September 30th!

The My Little Tale series continues with a 4th episode for all of you following it. As with the last few, expect impressive sprite work and the slightly uneasy feeling you'd expect from a world like this.
