Some really cool orchestral stuff here! First up Mane In Green tells the story of a tea party between Fluttershy and Discord, with some variations of the background music from Discordant Harmony evident through the piece and some lovely composition backing it up. We've also got a baroque-style piece from a relatively new artist called Pegapony, that definitely suits Luna, and sort of sounds like something you might hear at an old-style ball. The sounds don't change too much, but their composition is terrific. Check both of these pieces out below the break!

The votes have been counted and the top fandom music from September as voted by the community is up now! It features a whole heap of orchestral stuff, as well as a nice smattering of rock and electronic too. The list tends towards more well known names, but there are a couple smaller people getting some love too. Make sure to check it out and hopefully there's some stuff you like, personally I think it's a pretty strong list!

Back when Fame and Misfortune first aired, there was a small faction of people that were miffed at how it seems to be an attack on the slightly more obsessed fans among us. The episode was meta as possible, and was obviously intended as a joke, but M.A. Larson was flooded with people on Twitter both angry and sorry that the creators of the show felt they were obnoxious.
It turns out, there was a lot more to it than simply writing an episode. A video has popped up from a BronyCAN panel from a few months ago that stars Larson himself explaining how exactly this even happened. It turns out, he wasn't a fan of the premise at all going in, but was stuck writing it. He didn't like the idea of a bunch of background ponies we've loved for years acting like assholes and showing the less savory sides of the fandom, and knew right from the start that it would anger people and look like an attack.
I'll let him do the explaining though! It's worth a listen.

With the rest of the season leaked and season 8 animatics already released, it's time to get brainstorming for the next round of pony some time next year. This season continued the trend of Starlight Glimmer episodes and we already know the movie technically falls after the season finale and before season 8. This opens a lot of possible arcs starring movie characters, as well as continued adventures with the mane cast.
So, good fandom filled with intelligent individuals, what do YOU want to see?
