Two beautiful pieces of music here! First is a gentle, soothing and steadily evolving piece from Nicolas Dominique. The way the bells are used makes it feel especially mystical, especially when combines with the occasional heavy chime sounds. The second piece from Mane In Green lies heavily on its incredibly strong composition, with an increasingly complex violin-centric piece. It feels as if Octavia is putting on a concert performance that steadily increases to a grand crescendo before it ends. Check them both out below!

Amazing how long Derpy has stayed with us over the years. One of the earliest of the fandom's creations and she has stayed strong through all these years.

Hasbro has sent out the presser for the first My Little Pony Exclusive of Hascon! And it's a box! Just what's in the box? My Little Pony Goodness of course, but what is in there? The description given for it is both exact and vague.
There are exclusive Hascon MLP Youth shirts in there, but the design is a surprise. There's a Pony Friends Figure, a Mini Plush Seapony, Stackems, a Pen & Journal combo, Activity books, a tumblr, and a "My Little Pony: The Movie - Friends and Foes", which aside from the book we have no idea if it's an item exclusive to the convention or not. Though considering that this box only cost $19.99 USD, I wouldn't be surprised at all if the majority of it is stuff either already on retailer shelves or soon to be released worldwide.
I happen to know a disadvantaged family through work whose daughter LOVES MLP, so I'll probably pick this up for her.

Some pretty cool and odd rock music, though for very different reasons! First up Andy Feelin takes us on a journey with a gorgeous rock tune about Luna, but the interesting thing is that all the vocals are in Esperanto - not something you hear very often! There's a full translation in the video, so you can still follow along. The second track is a bit of tongue-in-cheek from Worst Princess about a hypothetical member of the fandom called Spaghetti Joe, with a chorus full of beautiful references to pasta. We haven't posted anything about this in a while, but it looks like a lot of great progress is happening on the Sweetie Bot project. A "Protopony3" has been designed as seen above. They hope to open source this entire idea and hopefully make robot ponies a more regular thing.
They've released their convention schedule and a bit more via press release. You can find all of that below.

Another big pony run event is planned for Mexico City on September 10th. A company called Total Running is heading it, and based on their Facebook history they have a lot of experience in these. Registration opens soon, so if you plan on being in the area this September, it's time to start training!
Two options will be available, with a shorter 3k capping at 2000 participants, and a longer 5k at 1500. Pricing is over here.

Faulty hasn't been around all that long, but he's already produced some awesome tracks, and this is probably my favourite so far from him! Some of the best use of Applejack's vocals I've heard combine with super happy synths and awesome melodies galore. Very much in the style of other artists such as John Kenza/Kadenza, this nonetheless stands out on its own thanks to the awesome stylistic choices throughout the track. Looks like pony is getting the theater collectibles treatment! Over on a website for a company that makes collectible movie cups a Pinkie Pie cup has appeared. It's a small image, but you get a good idea of what you're going to get from it. Looks like it will be a good thing for the kids!
