No stranger to making updated versions of his older tracks, StrachAttack returns with a heavy and bounce-y re-imagining of one of last year's releases Mustache Ride. Featuring vocal sampling from Spike and some gritty synth design, it's definitely been worth the upgrade! The second spot here has a happy hardcore remix from MrMehster of an originally drum & bass track. The build has some interesting oscillating supersaws, but where the remix really shines is the crazy high energy of the drops.

For anyone looking forward to Brony-Fair in Germany this year, it looks like we have a bit of bad news. A post up over on their website has revealed that the event this year has been cancelled. The people running it are unfortunately finding it difficult to multi-task the convention with their normal full-time jobs this time, and don't want to run an event that isn't up to it's usual standards.
Refunds will start shortly for anyone that has already bought a ticket, and they are offering a 5€ discount on GalaCon tickets to make up for it.
They don't plan on completely closing their doors. expect some possible good news for 2018!

BronyCon, the largest pony convention in the fandom has a big announcement tonight. It's been floating around the net for the past day or two that this change was in the works but now we have official confirmation that BronyCon will be adding a small amount of non-pony programming to this year's event.

It turns out the post over on the NIA: Path of Light patreon was a bit premature. While the programmer did decide to jump ship and take some of the IndieGOGO money with him, a smaller team is still looking to get this thing done, albeit a bit slower. The reason? A literal civil war happening right within the project leaders country.
The game will be reformated as a point and click adventure under the name "Path of Planes" once things stabilize a bit better. You can find updates on this over here.

Some more vocal-focused more in this post! First up The Shake Ups are back with another track from their Rock Candy album, All Aboard The Friend-ship! has a great vibe to it, and a super catchy chorus. Definitely the kind of thing you could groove out to if you're into power pop-style stuff. The second track is a more minimally adorned track that focuses more on orchestral elements and the vocals of the two performers singing a song about the relationship between Starlight and Sunburst. Hasbro has released their Q4/Full Year report today with details on all their business dealings including MLP. While we were hoping for some extra special news regarding season 7 or the movie all we ended up getting were business numbers.
The big takeaways concerning us is that revenue for Hasbro increased by 13% for the year, bringing the company to a robust $5 billion in revenue, the first time in the company's history. As for MLP, sales were down in the domestic market, but saw an increase internationally where they saw a 3% increase in Franchise Brand revenues that include growth in MLP, Magic: The Gathering, Play-Doh, and NERF.
So not too much to report, but we speculate we'll see something new at the New York Toy Fair coming up on the 18th and lasting through the 21st of this month. Stay tuned information coming out of that!

We've seen a lot of amazing stuff teased over the years from random pony companies, and quite a bit has been cancelled. It seems "Brony" is a pretty difficult fanbase to market to, with a bunch of demand for things that Hasbro hasn't a clue of.
I'm guessing they scan around our neck of the woods sometimes based on how quickly any episode link is immediately taken down here in EQDland. Maybe we can throw them ideas that we can throw our money at?

The 6th installment in the pony simulator series has been released, covering Derpy Hooves in this one! Toss her a hoofbump, play games, dress her in silly accessories, and eventually make her comfortable enough for a hug! It's not creepy cause it's Derpy.

Ahh the Rainbow Factory. A fanon I typically avoid like the plague outside of the song. These guys are hoping to remove the gore aspect entirely and go more for a pure horror aspect instead, which is a plus in my book! The animation skill here is impressive to say the least! Check out their teaser down below. They are also recruiting vector artists and animators, who can apply over here.
Warning: Don't expect a happy ending here, even if there isn't any gore.

L-Train is back with another track from his serious of mane 6-focused collaborations. This one focuses on Twilight Sparkle, and features some super slick rapping from FenPony. Combining rap with symphonic metal isn't something you hear all that often, but it works really well here. With the instrumental taking a backseat during the rap verses, but otherwise proving to be powerful and majestic, much like Twilight herself. Check it out below, you won't regret it!
