Hasbro to Attend NATPE Miami: Season 7 and EqG News to Come?

According to Transformers fan site Seibertron Hasbro will be attending the National Association of Television Program Executives next week in order to showcase Transformers, My Little Pony and Equestria Girls!

The NATPE is a place to provide "a platform for upcoming and established franchises and companies to share their content and tips." The key word here of course is content so it could very well be possible that we'll get some new info about MLP as well as Equestria Girls. We'll keep you guys informed if anything comes up!

12 Inch 2017 Pony Plushies Now at Target Too!

The 2017 lineup of official first part hasbro stuff is apparently all hitting stores at once. These guys have all been spotted at Target for $12.99 each. If you don't want to make the trip, you can still pick them up on Amazon, but now you have a way to skip shipping!

ANYWYAY. The "Lyra and the Secret Agant Ponies" book now has a cover over on the UK version of Amazon. Unfortunatetly it's not very secret agenty, but she looks pretty cute anyway.

Joining her, we have a listing for "Rainbow Dash and the Great Cookie Prank", which based on the description looks to just be a retelling of 28 Pranks Later.

Fox Brothers Will Return for Season 7

While Polsky is leaving the show we do have some good news on who is apparently returning. Mike Fox of the Fox brothers who wrote The Gift of Maud Pie, Applejack's Day Off and P.P.O.V. left this little teaser up on Twitter in response to a fan.

It's not outright confirmation as the staff usually likes to play around with us, but from the looks of it we can expect Mike and hopefully his brother to return for season 7!

Discussion: Who Do You Want to Guest Star for Season 7?

It seems like a trend now in pony to invite one or two big names on each season for an episode. Weird Al started the hype train, and several others have joined in on the festivities. Usually this always spawns out of an errant tweet or interview response showing an interest in the show from someone famous, then snowballs into them actually taking part in it.

Our last big acting icon to do this was Billy Bob Thornton, discussing Starlight Glimmers intro to the series and watching it with his daughter, but that's not the only way an actor or actress can be scooped up for a role.

So, good fandom with it's endless good ideas... who do you want to hop on for a guest position in season 7? Will we finally get that long rumored Doctor Whooves skit with David Tennant? What kind of episode does your choice star in?

Wandering Artist, or John Doe as he's known on his YouTube channel, has released the full soundtrack they've been working on for the Ponytown game so many of you have been enjoying over the last few months. You can check it out on bandcamp here, but otherwise make sure to check it out below if you want some orchestral-focused soundtrack action - who knows, maybe you can recognise some of the tracks if you've heard them before!

2017 Pony Brushables Now at Target

The new style brushable ponies have all popped up over at Target now. I think this means we can officially say that they are available in stores for 2017.

They are a bit pricier than the Amazon listings, so if you can wait a few days, you might want to go that route.

Anon KP Leakers Come Out and Clear Up What Happened

If you haven't been following the drama surrounding ILoveKimPossibleAlot over the last few months, this is probably completely alien to you. There was some butting of heads going on behind the scenes, confusion, and tons of miscommunication between everyone working on her projects. This spawned a series of drama videos from people around the fandom.

Since then, things have largely cleared up, but some of the people involved have decided to create  a bit of closure with a few videos of their own, explaining exactly what happened and essentially absolving everyone of wrongdoing as the move forward. Here's to hoping it means all of this is behind us!

Ponies at Dawn: Amity Release Party Schedule Finalised!

PonyvilleFM is turning 6 years old this month, having come into operation for the first time in early 2011. As part of the celebrations, the release of Ponies at Dawn's Amity album will be streamed in full during a 5 hour block from 3PM EST until 8PM EST (you can save the date in Google Calendar here), with some DJ sets before and after. It's pretty cool to see how as long as the fandom's been going, there are still a few awesome places left that have been around for so long. Make sure to check below for the full information!
