Ratings have arrived for Top Bolt and once again we've seen another drop as Top Bolt scored 170,000 viewers compared to the 265,000 viewers scored by Where the Apple Lies. Considering this seems to be par for the course with this season yo-yoing everywhere it's possible those viewing it early in the UK had no real effect or maybe it did. We'll probably never know.

A Gigantic 2017 My Little Pony planning press release has been sent out from Hasbro as of a few minutes ago highlighting their plans for the year leading up to the big film release. While we already have confirmation of season 7 thanks to both leaks and Big Jim last week, this solidifies how they will be handling it.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Celebrates its second milestone issue in January! And what better way is there to celebrate fifty issues of MLP Comics than by tying it in with the IDW Cover Theme of the month?
No, we care not getting My Little Pony Centric Covers on all of IDW's Comics—though if our friends at IDW are reading this I would not be opposed to such a themed month—but rather the Artist Edition Cover Month is back! Once again we have Andy Price on cover duty for this particular subscription variant cover!
And I do believe that this cover gives us the first full look at the change that our dear lord of chaos undergoes over the course of the arc. What a fine dapper fellow he is.The bowler hat is a nice touch, which we saw previously in Sara Richard's Retailer Incentive Cover from the NYCC IDW Panel!.
I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of these covers popping up throughout the day as we approach full release of IDW's January 2017 Solicitations!

Back in April we reported on a new trademark filing by Hasbro, for something known as "HASCON". It was speculated at the time that this new trademark could potentially be for something along the lines of a Hasbro-focused convention.
Well, it looks like those suspicions were correct! Coming September of next year is HASCON! A new convention centering around everything Hasbro. The convention will take place on September 8-10 2017 at the Rhode Island Convention Center and Dunkin Donuts Center. There isn't a whole lot of info about it just yet, but I'm sure more will be announced as it draws nearer.
Pretty cool. How many of you would consider going to this convention?

Lovestruck Brony has made some pretty awesome drum & bass/neuro-style stuff recently, and this release here is no different! Some of you may know them better from their older alias, Freescript, which appeared on a couple of the Balloon Party albums, but even if not, this track should be a great introduction to their work. With powerful neuro basses, heavy chord stabs, awesome vocal samples and a great mixing between different tempos, this track is definitely worth checking out!
