Ratings are now in for The Gift of Maud Pie! Looks like for this week the ratings for the episode pulled in 214,000 viewers in total. Not too bad I'd say! Down from the premiere, but it was a premiere after all. I wonder what the rest of the season will be like.
Now for some serious talk. Considering that Jim said that ratings don't really matter and the fact these posts seem to just cause drama in the comments I want to hear what you guys think. Are these posts worth it to you guys or would you rather us not post these up? It's up to Seth in the end, but if the majority don't like ratings posts I'll talk to Seth seriously about not posting them anymore. Anyhow, it's up to you guys. Let me know!

Science is afoot!We have a new article in our inbox today! The Globe and Mail, a Canadian paper posted an article on the brony phenomena, with interviews from the folks over at Bronystudy.com and some Bronycon attendees! The article provides a sociologist's perspective and the link between cosplay and brony culture. Compared to most other articles that provide us with an interview or two, this one is well-written and researched. Check the article out after the break!
The Globe and Mail: Young adults doing kid stuff? It could be good for them -- and society -
The original Mentally Advanced series might be gone due to using the show style, but a fan of the series has redone one of the episodes completely in the Rainbow Dash Presents style instead in order to let at least one of these old gems survive on Youtube.
Before you ask, this has been acknowledged by FiMFlam on his Twitter so let's hope more of these old episodes get the same treatment in the future!

If you are one of those people collecting ALL the blindbag ponies, the 15th wave has started appearing in stores here in the USA and up in Canada. This box in particular popped up at a Walmart in Quebec.
The submitter points out that the mane 5 minus Pinkie have a stripe of glitter on their manes, while the other 19 are plain. Who wants glitter all over the place anyway?!
If you are in Europe, these already appeared a while ago. Get the code list for them here if you want specific ones.
