Short Game: Spike's Day-Off

We haven't had many Spike games before have we? The little dude needs to help his friend, Mina, from the MLP comics with the super simple task of acquiring hot dogs, but ends up having to wander around Equestria to complete it. It can be completed in about 20 minutes, but the sprites and general idea seem really neat.

Maybe it will be expanded in the future?

Nightly Discussion #626

Remember that one time when Rarity finally convinced Rainbow Dash to let her polish her hooves, but Dashie got super embarrassed mid-way and had to run out the door? Good times. The scene where her single shiny hoof blinded Derpy, which lead her to colliding with Twilight's Balloon, which lead to the balloon falling on top of town hall, which ruined Mayor Mare's renovations and collapsed her office, which lead to an important document negotiating a trade deal with Hollowshades being delayed, which lead to all out war between BATS and PONIES, which eventually lead to peace between both races, which brought prosperity to all of Equestria was pretty fun.

Toy Fair 2016 - Full Guide and Compilation of All New My Little Pony Merchandise Announced for 2016

 
Last year I compiled up all the information from Toy Fair 2015 and quite a few of you got a good amount of use with it over the rest of the year. Lets do that again shall we? Toy Fair introduced a boatload of new products and ideas that we should be seeing as the days tick by, from Nightmare Night to the announcement of a brand new Equestria Girls and season 6 animatics, this is going to be a HUGE year for pony.

Toy Fair 2016 - Wave 16 Blind Bag Ponies Are Nightmare Night Themed... Kinda?

The 16th wave in the Blind Bag pony world was also apparently buried on the side at toy Fair. From the box art, one wouldn't be too hard pressed to guess at a Nightmare Night theme, but the preview ponies in the back look to be the exact same molds they always use, as opposed to variants on the upcoming Friendship is Magic collection that does indeed run a Nightmare Night style.

I suppose only time will tell. I can't imagine they can resell the same set of blindbags forever.

Gameloft Game Adds $1140 More Worth of Micro-Transactions Via "VIP" System, and ...Clown Ponies in New Update

Just in case you, or the parents of kids that beg for virtual gems haven't spent enough money already on the pony game, Gameloft has a new system in place to really milk the bits. The "VIP" system introduced in the iOS update today basically puts 15 levels into place that provide different bonuses based on how much money you spend on the game.

Everything from bonus % to scores in mini games (gotta spend money to win the events after all!) to reduced waiting time can now get a direct injection of bucks for maximum efficiency.

Hearth's Warming Con Announcements

While the 2016 pony convention season has already begun in North America, the European pony convention season is about to start in just over a week, with Hearth's Warming Con in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands as the first one in the lineup this year.

Even with the con just barely over a week away, some final announcements have been put out by the con staff. Find the press release below the break.

Which Pony Hugs or Is Hugged the Most? Someone Charted ALL the Hugs of the Last 5 Seasons

Friendship is Magic is a show absolutely dominated by ponies hugging one another. That's probably why our pony conventions tend to do the same thing. In true fandom fashion, someone going by the name of Lifeofthe6 has compiled up ALL the hugs of the last five seasons, as well as a bonus separation of just season 5.

Who was the most huggy pony? Who did it the least? You may be surprised.

Toy Fair 2016 - Paper Punk Craftable Paper Ponies Appear

Some late news coming out of Toy Fair for any of you out there that love crafting things. A new lineup of the Mane 6 is on it's way from a company called Paper Punk, specializing in papercraft. If you click the tag at the bottom of this post, you will find a pretty broad history of the medium during the earlier fandom. I'm glad to see it return in an official lineup. That was literally the only figurine we had back in the day of most characters.

Will season 6 continue the every-other-season trend for Daring Do? Or will she go the path of Trixie into background oblivion? Guardians of Harmony Pricing and Product Details, Plus Discord, Spitifire, and Soarin on the Way

Guardians of Harmony news seems to release in a flood doesn't it? We have more interesting bits of info coming out of Hasbro's collective press release piles. Pricing for their big release this Fall has been dropped for all of you to prepare your wallets for.

In this release, they also noted that Discord, Spitifre, and Soarin would be getting some epic pony battle lovin too.
