The Equestria Girls: Friendship Games app released a few days ago, and within lies a bunch of zapcode entries for future dolls. They also may be pointing at future characters expected in the actual movie if the entries below are any indication.

I was thinking of doing a Derpy Blast post before the 100th episode, but I thought against it considering it might spoil some things for people, heh. Now with the episode long over I think we can celebrate just how far we've come with a little Derpy nostalgia!
With the revival of the Blast posts I'll be taking suggestions from people for media to spotlight that is at least one year old! This can be anything from music, comics, influential drawing that sparked trends in the fandom, animations, ect. Just send everything to [email protected] if you have a suggestion! I know I featured this as the header of the craft compilation yesterday, but I thought this would be cool enough to split off.
Not only that though, I was mistaken on what exactly this piece is. It's actually a print that has been PRINTED on glass, not traditional stained glass as I first thought. I didn't even know you could do that! At any rate, it makes for a beautiful piece and I hope this clears up any confusion about it.

Following the trend of the last two movies, a book will be released to go along with the actual Friendship Games movie. Usually this drops a bit earlier, so we can probably deduce that the film will be late October based on this post.
Typically, these don't follow the actual movie storyline. If it is anything like the last few books, it will veer off into a side story, or prequel.

Ponies in real life have been a thing for quite awhile now, but while most use animation from the show integrated into a real life setting we do sometimes get ones that use original voice acting and animation! Pinkie's Favorite Flavor is one of these and the effort put into it really shines through.

Equestria Girls: Friendship Games has been floating around on the sidelines for a while now without any kind of release date. Buried in that SDCC Exclusive list earlier was a description revealing a possible month:
Go Team Wondercolts! My Little Pony Equestria Girls are back for a third film in October, which means we’re ALL literally winners! Stop by to get your own Friendship Games button, exclusively from Shout! Factory Kids.
October fits with past releases, and we already know Fall is confirmed. I wonder how big the push will be this year?
Update: Another site actually lists it's TV release for October 13th. No official confirmation yet though.

Baseball fans are getting some crossover love over at San Diego Comic Con. A company called UCC Distributing is releasing a set of six baseball themed Pinkie Pie figures, each representing a different team. Currently each of these will be available:
St. Louis Cardinals
Chicago Cubs
Boston Red Sox
Los Angeles Dodgers
Detroit Tigers
New York Yankees
Currently, they are listed as going for $9.99, which isn't too bad for a Comic Con exclusive.
Outside of jersey, hat, and box, each one is pretty much identical. You can find more images below, along with the official description.

This is a pairing I never thought we would ever see. Friends Forever #20 has been revealed for this September, and we are totally getting some Discord and Luna action. I for one welcome more of their comic selves. If there is one thing we have seen a lot of between these two, it's interesting comic arcs.
