I don't see many Mane-iac plushies, but I can imagine her insane mane must be quite problematic for a lot of plushie makers. That usually means when we see a completed plush of her she comes out looking fantastic more often than not!

With strong financial reports coming from Hasbro today, analysts are looking at how Mattel is faring in comparison and things aren't looking so sunny for the Barbie Doll maker. While Hasbro showed a 5% increase in revenue last year, Mattel fell 7% according to a Reuters which brings the two companies within $1.74 billion of each other in total revenue.
The gap is expected to narrow as Mattel loses some important licenses and as Hasbro continues to grow in 2015. Looks like the business side of things are strong, so let's hope that means good things for Hasbro's properties.

It's almost Hearts and Hooves day, so why not keep the romance going? The year is 2015, and pop culture has apparently opened the flood gates on open-ness. Recently, Nickelodeon allowed, and then celebrated the main character of Legend of Korra hooking up with another major female character in the finale, marking one of the first lesbian relationships between main characters in a show on a kids network.
Obviously, pony's target audience may be a bit lower, but we have seen some pretty tough issues explored throughout the seasons already. The odds are low, but there is always a possibility that characters like Lyra and Bonbon may officially become an item.
In some ways, keeping the ponies a blank slate sort of gives us free reign to do whatever we please with them on the fan side, which I tend to prefer, but if two of the mane 6 suddenly ended up dating in season 5, what would your reaction be?

I don't know if you guys noticed, but we have a pretty awesome fandom here. Even after almost a full year of nothing on the official pony only front, we are still somehow surviving on 100% fan content. Things may have slowed down, but we are still truckin along.

Toy Faires are apparently all happening everywhere lately, and one in particular went down over in Nuremberg. We tossed up a bit of information on it, but one of our buddies over in Germany, Gerjet, wrote up a quick recap of his experience on the actual floor. You may remember him from last year, also revealing some interesting tidbits.
We mentioned motorcycles recently in regards to the upcoming Friendship Games Equestria Girls movie, but this one fully confirms that aspect. Expect Sunset Shimmer donning a leather jacket in the near future! Assuming they go that route.

For ten years IDW Publishing and Hasbro have been working together to bring Hasbro properties to life in the form of the many comics IDW creates. With news coming out of the conference call from earlier today one little interesting tidbit is that Hasbro and IDW Publishing have renewed their partnership meaning we're good for pony comics and more far into the foreseeable future!

For some reason the concept of a wise old Gandalf Zecora smokin' the Poison Joke and blowing out smokey dragons is appealing to me. That fits her so well.

While a bunch of us are currently bombarding the investor call this morning hoping for a season 5 release date, a bit of pony news was specifically pointed out. While we don't have the exact numbers due to them clumping pony stuff in with other "franchise brands", they did note that Equestria Girls has grown the My little Pony IP up by double digits for 2014 and the 4th quarter.
I don't think there is any fear of Friendship is Magic or Equestria Girls ending in the near future. Expect the series and movies to keep going for quite a while longer with how excited they are about both segments.
ONWARD to pony domination!
