Friendship is Magic's renewal is still somewhat of a mystery over on Netflix, but we do have a bit of good news if the listing for it is any indication.Friendship is Magic's availability has been bumped to the 17th instead of it's start of February take-down time. My guess is negotiations are still happening, but the head honchos over there didn't want to axe your cartoon equines due to those sometimes ridiculously long business negotiations.
Heres to hoping it gets completely renewed for another year!

I'm commandeering one of these artist spotlight thingies cause cute always needs a spotlight! You have probably seen this artist around in some form on Deviant Art or in our convention compilations.
Centchi has been dropping the pony art since late 2012 according to Deviant Art. Since then she has drawn an incredible amount of ponies, many commissioned by various people throughout the fandom. Her style takes the Friendship is Magic form and adds yet another layer of extra cuteness on top, via bubbly, shiny ponies and a bit extra of that "chibi" without sacrificing the pony form we all love.
These days her focus appears to be on OC ponies, from the Bronycon mascots, to an armada of comissions. Few artists in the fandom have released such a massive amount of stuff. And did I mention bat ponies? So many bat ponies. Some of the most adorable bat ponies anywhere.

Know who needs more BAT? MAUD PIE! I never really considered the concept before. Pinkie Pie's dark and brooding sister sprouting bat wings and fangs seems to work much better than it should. I've always been a fan of happy and silly bats, but this is intriguing to say the least.

Romance, or "Shipping" is something pretty much any fandom out there gets involved in. People naturally crave that extra connection to tie the characters in a setting together, and Friendship is Magic just happens to make it even cuter. Pony shipping has been around forever, since the very first threads happened on the comics and cartoons board of old.

We had a Shining Armor, Cadance, and Luna leak a few days ago from the Build a Bear site database, and now we already have signage for both of them popping up internally at Build a Bear. Time to start hunting for a date! Here's to hoping Moonbutt and Candybutt hit stores soon.
