For those that haven't been following it, a wildly successful kickstarter is currently going down to fund a new Reading Rainbow. MLP Comic artist Katie Cook has hopped on board as part of a calendar project added as one of the tiers in their rewards section for helping fund it (currently at the $30 tier). The prints from the calendar will also be up for grabs in one of the higher reward slots being put up next week.

A website called Issuu currently has a 7 page preview up of the comic releasing this week on the 25th. Unlike the last one, it actually goes in order this time! If you want a waste of what is to come, head on over here to check it out!

It looks like Comic Con isn't the only thing we have to look forward to in July for pony news. Hasbro plans on web-casting their second quarter 2014 earnings conference call for all the internet to see. Last time around, we had a whole bunch of new information revealed, along with release dates on some important events via the slides included with the presentation. Hopefully we get some season five info to chew on while we wait for it's release!
It looks like we can expect more of these in both October and September as well.

Over in Australia, the pony display at a Myers store is taking it to the next level. This giant Rainbow Dash sculpture marks the spot where you can get the usual pony stuff. I wonder what it would take to convince Hasbro to sell these things seperate? Would you outfit your house in a giant Dash?

This discussion came up last night, followed by a huge 300+ line debate on Changelings as a whole. We know Chrysalis and her posse make bug sounds when walking around and chittering through canterlot, but what is the actual composition of their skin?
Apparently this is something that comes up a lot but hasn't been broadly discussed! Do they take from their hooved equine side with fuzzy hair, or is their skin chitinous like bugs? What do you think changelings actually "are" anyway?!

Remember when molded figures were a rarity? It looks like they are starting to push them quite a bit more. This one popped up over in Poland, joining the Pinkie Pie, Twilight, and Applejack from a while back. There aren't any garuntees that these will ever hit other countries, but you never know!
