The giant theater awards event Tony Awards happened, and one of the winners, Lena Hall, ended her speech with a "Friendship is Magic". That isn't exactly a saying you heard often outside of pony, so yay for subtle pony shoutout? I'll take it!

The comic series is one of the best ways for us to get some official pony while we wait for season five, and something a lot of you still need to try out! We wouldn't have a series without the artists and writers behind it though, and one in particular has agreed to do an interview with us. You may recognize her designs from the premium cover lines released by IDW a while back, along with some of the badass art that has popped up throughout the series lifecycle. Sara Richard has one of the most unique styles of the various people on the project, and she even drew one for us! Quadruple the cool points!
The Illustrious Q, who usually gathers our official comic info during each update, went out there to conduct it as a guest writer for EQD. This is something I mentioned starting a while back on Twitter, and he jumped at it before we even opened it. That's initiative right there!

Friendship is Magic is now a worldwide thing, and quite a few countries have already completed season 3. Are you curious what their songs sound like though? While we have seen some pretty groanworthy remakes in the past, quite a few are really well done!

Due to popular demand, and probably the boatloads of people out there trying to get a hold of these lost songs, it looks like Archie has both re-released all of his pony music over on the Pony Archie youtube channel, along with added them to a discography on Bandcamp completely free. Hopefully this means things are doing well for the guy after that fundraiser a while back! It's always good to see us collectively bombard someone with support.

I always get crap for it, but Kung Fu Panda is right up there in my top 10 favorite movies. Now Luna does it, who is in my top 10 ponies. What does this mean citizens of Equestria Daily!? Am I about to open a singularity up with this newfound knowledge?!
