Laying awake with the darkness all around, your eyes try their best to pierce the darkness but in the end, as much as you wish to peek outward, you can't help but dive inward into your very core. These can be the most joyous and frightening parts of the night, where your mind wanders and you reflect upon the past, the present, and the future. At times we smile, at times we cry, at we times we shiver in fear as we lay in the dark as if the whole world is nothing more than you and your mind.

Reflection is important, no matter how frightening it may be. We grow stronger from our experiences and our memories of them and become better prepared by thinking of the future. So don't be afraid, close those eyes and dive into yourself and truly feel alive.

Soaring Pegasus and Ponyville Newsmaker Sets Arrive In Stores

More merch for the merch gods! While these guys have been floating around for quite a while online (though usually unavailable), it looks like they have finally started popping up in stores for sale.  Both the Ponyville Newsmaker and Soaring Pegasus sets have been spotted at Target by a few people.  Usually these are a bit difficult to get ahold of, so be sure to call before you run around the world looking for them.

Custom Compilation #119

It's been quite awhile since the last Custom Compilation and there is a reason for that: the flow of customs into our inbox is woefully low. We were only able to put this together thanks to the effort of one dedicated custom pony creator.

If this feature is to survive please send in your customs! Remember, customs are official merchandise of any kind that has been modified. If you don't make customs please spread the word and tell your friends! I'm willing to accept other generation modifications because some of them are really, really cool so please send in what you can so we can give these artists the spotlight they deserve.

Hub Network Releases "Maleficent" Inspired Trailer for Villaintines Day

Twilight Battles Maleficent by WaltzBrony

In honor of the upcoming Disney film, Maleficent, Hub Network has created its own trailer inspired by Malefiecent trailer for the upcoming Villaintines Day celebration on May 23rd. This is one of the coolest trailers I've ever seen using animation from all four seasons with dubbed voiceovers by Tara Strong and John de Lancie saying lines from the movie. Check it out after the break and of course as a fellow Disney fan its my job to tell you to go see Maleficent when it hits theaters on May 30th.

Discussion: Swap a Mane 6 For a Background Pony!

That hypothetical Hasbro rep has popped up once again and tossed you, as the ambassador of pony, yet another difficult decision. It seems season five will not be going the "Alicorn all the main characters and sell princess toys" route, instead aiming for a more "replace one of these main ponies with someone else and sell toys of that!".  They need your help deciding who gets the axe, and who is added!

Your mission, is to replace any of the mane 6 ponies with any of the background, side, or villains in the series.  Want to redeem Chrysalis and replace Twilight Sparkle? Go for it.
