TV.com Nominated MLP For Best Animated Kids Series of 2013

We have another poll to win now that AdWeek is in the bag.  TV.com has thrown MLP up against some of the big ones out there, including Legend of Korra, Adventure Time, and Gravity Falls.  This is probably going to be our toughest battle yet.

What are Russians doing when they aren't being badasses?  Animating cartoon horses of course! We have one long one in the cutout style dedicated to Derpy to start, and a short Rainbow Dash/Lightning Dust skit right after it.  Head on down below the break to check them out!

Funko Mystery Minis Slowly Invading Stores - Loads of Info on Them

It looks like  the mystery minis are slowly making their way into stores.  These are essentially Funko's answer to blindbag ponies if you don't remember their announcement a while back.  According to the folks over at MLP Arena, a good amount of these have "variants", some with the black color, while others use the traditional design their larger counterparts run with.  Have a list from VioletCLM:

Now on to the bad news! According to Texasuberallies (who also sent all these pictures over), It looks like, unlike blindbags, these don't have any kind of identification that allows you to pick specific ponies or colors.  You also can't just "buy a box" for every single one.  The boxes themselves are assorted.  I guess It's time to get down to those meetup groups and do some trading if you want a full set.   (Apparently these do all come in a single box). And as always, it looks like Toywiz or Entertainment Earth are probably your best bet for grabbing them online, though their pre-orders are slated to ship in January.

Introduction to the My Little Pony Collectible Card Game

Hi everypony! My name is Cups, sometimes known as Rob, and I’m here today to give an overview of the My Little Pony Collectible Card Game. I used to be a pre-reader here on EQD back in the day, but for now I'll be helping out with Equestria Daily's CCG section for at least the next couple months. I’m pretty nervouscited to be sharing some pearls of wisdom about the game with all of you, so before I totally embarrass myself we should dive right in!

According to The Hub's Twitter page, AdWeek's readers choice poll has once again targeted the network with "Hottest Family Network".  Now we just need to convince them to not show new episodes at 8 AM here in Arizona.  That's way too early!

Dave Polsky (Writer of This Week's Episode) Running Twitter AMA On Saturday!
