SDCC Hasbro Booth Pictures, Plus Equestria Girls Blu-Ray Selling Early

Our very own CouchCrusader here on EQD decided to snap some pictures of the Hasbro Booth during preview night at San Diego Comic Con.  Everything from that amazing Twilight Sparkle statue to the swarms of merch they have in the works for us this year have been included.

New Hubworld Game - Protect the Pies

The Hub has tossed yet another game up over on their Hubworld website.  It's a pretty simple missile command style thing where you use party cannons to protect pies from falling objects.  Head on over here to check it out!

Tumblr Spotlight - Mature Edition: Discorded Whooves / Ask Blood Mage Sweetie Belle / Ask Sadistic Pinkamena / Ask Backy

 I promised quite some time ago after the success of the last mature themed Tumblr Spotlight that I would do another one and after a bunch of laziness on my part here we are again with a selection of some of the more mature themed tumblrs in the tumblr universe!

What the mature editions are meant to accomplish is to give those that want a little bit more than something cute and fuzzy as most tumblrs appear to be in our spotlights a chance at something that tickles their fancies as well! Of course none of the tumblrs in these editions are explicit in nature, but do indeed contain adult themes. So if you want to avoid adult themes in your ponies steer clear of this edition!

30 years ago, a video was leaked by a rogue Pony Intelligence Agency operative that shocked the conspiracy theorist world for weeks.  Unfortunately for him, an experimental memory wiping device successfully cleaned up the mess he caused, and people continued on with their daily lives, unaware of the sinister experiments still going on behind the scenes at the PIA.

Reminder: Birthday Art and Jayson Appreciation Event

Just a quick reminder post that there is still some time for pieces of artwork for both Lauren Faust and Andrea Libman's birthdays with Andrea's on the 19th and Lauren's on the 25th. Not only that we are currently doing an appreciation event for Jayson Thiessen as well which will end a week from today on the 25th!

Discussion: Bat Ponies

Luna's royal guards are arguably evil looking, with their slit eyes and dark features.  But we all know that can't actually be the case right?  Luna herself is dark, but outside of that little plunge the world into eternal night thing, she was never actually evil.

So I have a question for you all: Have you ever sat down and really thought about these guys? What is their origin? Were they born out of an underground laboratory where cross species gene splicing was going on?   Or maybe they are just an entirely new pony race?  Hell, Luna might be just throw illusion spells at them, it's no secret she can pop a Nightmare Moon look whenever she wants.  What do they do for fun when they aren't flying Luna around on her evil looking chariot?

More Pinkie Pie's Botique Stuff, with New Pony

This is starting to look like a much bigger push than originally thought!  Pinkie Pie's gothpony Botique has expanded even further with the first non-Pinkie pony. "Wysteria" as her name is listed on the box appears to be a HASBROC recolor of Fluttershy.  I'm sure she won't be the only one.

Further proof that unicorn magic is overpowered.  Look at that pony, she doesn't even look like she is in a rush.  Donkey Kong enemies don't stand a chance against her telekinesis.

Build A Bear Alicorn Twilight Sparkle Image Released

The Australian version of Build-A-Bear has revealed their design for the upcoming Twilight Sparkle plushie, along with Spike as a mini.  The date for release is the 2nd of August, and it looks to be usling the same skeleton as the others aside from the addition of the horn.

Panini Publishes MLP Comic in Germany

Great news for our European friends who have long sought the US comic series that have been out for awhile over here in the States. Coming this October, Panini will be publishing the comics for European consumption starting with Germany. They are enthusiastic about the future release and look forward to eager buyers hoping to get their hands on the comics.
