ReplyDeleteIf you haven't read PMW or U:BP, do yourself a favor and start now. Unmarked is pretty good too, but the first two are on a whole other level, especially PMW.

ReplyDeleteMeh. Tried Ponies make War. Couldnt finish chapter one, the story just felt too off for me. Odd considering that I love Fallout:Equestria, and thats about as non-canon and "off" as you can get.

ReplyDeleteI would challenge you to at least read through to chapter 7 or so. I can't imagine a fan of more mature, long, intriguing stories with good characterization to not be hooked.
Chapter 1 is probably the weakest, but once the story gets going, it really moves.

ReplyDeleteThe original Chapter 1 was wack ("It was a nice night, and then OC alicorns came and ruined everything!") but the author re-wrote it and its much MUCH better now.
There's no such thing as a canon fanfic. Anyone trying to force the idea that a fanfic needs to be canon to feel right to them needs to pick up a dictionary.
