So usually the way it goes is that I try to work on something (usually a programming project), make some horrible design decision in my confused state and then have to revert to a previous backup, losing several days of work.

ReplyDelete#1 Very energetic song from one of my favorite bands. The scenes also matched up well.
#2 Also fantastic. Never would have thought of Twilight and Fluttershy doing a duet, but here it was.
#3 Ah, Spirit of Radio. I was sold when I saw the title. Further sold when I saw the scenes used.

ReplyDeleteI have to say that there has definitely been a turning point in my life where 'romance' has gone way down on my importance scale and friendships are becoming much more important to me. Maybe it's a sign of maturity? Can't really say at this point.
And MLP may or may not have had something to do with that.

Honestly I'm probably the wrong person to ask about this one. I'm not really into PMV's (or AMV's, or MV's), and the choice of music genre is one that I personally don't like.
So, I couldn't tell you whether it was good or bad for someone who likes those 2 things rolled into one, but my personal tastes (unrelated to editing skills) kinda kept me from getting into it.
Kept it as honest as possible, and part of that is letting you know that you're getting a review of an orange from an apple critic.

This vid was only my second video ever. So, I've gotten a lot better and the next video will hve a bunch of little details added in.

Aye! Being sad and alone on Valentine's Day is so last year. Sometimes, you just gotta be OK with being alone (and having no responsibilities towards someone else, that's the best part!) Though I'd rather not be alone, so I just spent all day with friends and had a party. Maybe next year. On to the PMV's!

I'm in the same type of mindset.
It's not like I dont want to start the relationships/friendships/conversations, but there is some sort of mental barrier keeping me from saying anything.
Also, thank you to anyone who posted feedback on the videos. The third video was mine. I know these "Simple PMV's" aren't as awesome as some of the other stuff out there, but it's awesome to at least get feedback on the videos.

ReplyDeleteI've got other things to take up my time, school, Doctor Who and other sci-fi stuff, books, video games, and of course ponies. Not to mention I'm not too interested in having a relationship at the moment, or every have been really. Social interaction is certainly not my forte.
Anyway, enjoyed the PMVs. Liked #1 and #3 best. #3 had some really good scene selection.

ReplyDeleteGranted, my last Valentine's day was pretty terrible. It was the first Valentine's since my ex broke up with me. I was also hit by a car. Not very hard, but a gentle nudge from an SUV can still knock you off your feet. I just had a hard time paying attention that morning because said ex left a facebook post about visiting Victoria's Secret to make that day more special for her and her new boyfriend.
Yeah, that was a bad day.
Still, being with her was a hell of a lot better than being without her.

Aye. In previous years I actually cared about Valentine's Day and give something to my crush or get hopes someone would give something to me (which is unlikely because here the boy is always the one who has to give).
ReplyDeleteBut this year I felt indiferent. Maybe because ponies, maybe because I haven't a crush on anyone from my class or even because I'm turning into a complete cool-hearted person; but this year Valentine's Day has finally been o normal day to me :D
