  • Music: Stargazer / Flutter / Fluttershy Dubstep

    by Sethisto

I was told by my dubstep go to guy that the 3rd one "kicks ass". I still haven't joined that collective yet though. Dubstep just doesn't do it for me!

    1.) PiercingSight - Stargazer (Sparkle)
    2.) Flutter (Post-HXC Remix)
    3.) Bright_Rai - "Fluttershy's Dubstep"

and from the description for the actual vid under 3:
"Inspiration/Remixed From: Feed Me - Blood Red"

Inspiration means had some burst of creativity and you made something... remix means you changed the song up and made it your own... #3 is neither.

      Seth, you should get pre-listeners.

I'm seriously listening to both of these synced at the same time...

PiercingSigh here (#1): I've been hearing that the song is too sad... Allow me to explain. First, if you actually listen to the rest of the song, the sad goes away, like a moment of triumph. Second, sometimes looking into space can be a humbling experience, and such is that innocent sound that you interpret as "sad". That's about it. Listen to the WHOLE thing with actual stargazing in mind... or stargaze while listening ;)

Thanks for the compliments, more music on the way, although, it might be a little different next time... ;P

Oh I see, instead of working my butt off in Cubase trying to avoid VST crashes and creating my own original pony-themed songs, all I have to do to get featured is take a popular song and throw a few audio clips over it!

Whew, thought I'd actually have to do hard work to get featured on this site!

I'm a little bit of a Dubstep fan. I know, I know... don't say it. lol And this was a good listen for sure. Too bad I don't have the speakers at this moment to take full advantage of it. Pretty good one.

      This is mighty strange. :/
I would even go so far as to say, WHUT is going on here?
#3 is really a existing song straight-up ripped with some pony overdubs on it?
What's with #2 sayin' he owns the song but not the notes? Is it a cover? If you wrote the song, you own the notes.
When I did "On To Somethin' Good" some asked if I'd taken existing music or 'was just that good at writing country songs'. It seemed like a funny question about a song with gratituously pony lyrics like 'cerulean is framed by all the colors of the light'. Now I understand a little better ;P
Come on, music ponies, be honest. Write stuff from scratch. Ain't our ponies inspiring enough for you?

Yeah, Seth, #3 needs to be removed. It is neither original nor a remix. It is another producer's song with Fluttershy dialogue over it.

http://youtubedoubler.com/1V4T Watch that for obvious proof. (Note: you may need to click the "Double up" button a few times to properly synch the song.)
