ReplyDeleteThe second comic reminds me of the fanfic posted earlier called "The Guidance and Patronage of Trixie." Sweetie Belle and Rarity were fighting and they didn't make up (at least not yet). This comic makes up for that. Daaww.

Both were cute, but I liked the first one more.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I've always thought of Big Mac as being smart, on account of Applejack's comments about "fancy mathematics" in the beginning.
I know it was a joke, but still, I can't help but think back to that comic where Big Mac wrote a calculus book with his "fancy mathematics" and astounded Twilight.
Sweetie Belle's face in the 2nd panel of comic 2 kinda killed the D'awww moment for me.

ReplyDeleteI still thought both were nicely sentimental, though. First one definitely got me, even though I think we all knew how it would end.
Hasbro needs to market Smarty Pants dolls. I really like her mane.

The first one gave me a flashback to the Hogfather, Y'know with Albert looking a toy in a shop window hoping someone will buy it for him and then getting his face frozen to the window. Both very sweet scenes.

I think Big Mac is actually pretty smart. He just has a straightforward, no nonsense way of looking at things. I imagine he's as smart as Twilight, but has more practical, worldly wisdom and common sense.
