I'd like to clarify my above statement re: Comic #2 and say that I'm sure that's NOT what the artist had in mind. I love the way it's drawn and the emotions in it. It was beautiful (and heart-wrenching, HNNNNG!). I just thought the last part was a bit... much.

...it's a song. An extraordinarily beautiful one at that. Futurama fans would recognize it from the episode Jurassic Bark. I should also mention that "sigh in your arms" doesn't have any sort of sexual combinations unless you want to think of it that way.

With that all said, I am simply in love with that second comic. It's possibly the most absolutely perfect way you could use that song (aside from Jurassic Bark, I suppose). It's just wondrously melancholic.

Seeing that Celestia comic makes me think that the Futurama episode "Time Keeps On Slippin'" could potentially serve a fuel for a tear jerking comic. Fry "moved the stars" for Leela. The stars moved to free Luna. I just wonder if someone can come up with something for that now...

Haha. Sweetie Belle. "I really like your... mane?" One of my favorite lines from her of all time. :P Applebloom is smart though. She's making money via advertisements. I bet those stickers also make her much much faster too. I mean, it works for cars, right? Right... ? :D

Aww, second comic is nice. Futurama, eh? Hmm, well, reminds me of the episode with Fry and his dog and waiting for him for so long. Not sure if I'm getting the correct reference or not. But either way, nice.

Octavia, yes that actually does work for cars, fo real. Mo' sponsors = mo' money = better material and personell = mo' speed you're able to drag out of it. I doubt that it'll work the same for ponies tho. At the most you can get horseshoes with better grip the rest of her is difficult to tune.

Nascar is sooo suitable for Applebloom too. Not among my faves in motorsports but very suiting for a hick- errr i mean pony with an agricultural background.

@JAGammaUnless she's on a road course. They do have them in Nascar. They're just few and far between. And almost universally dominated by former F1 drivers like Juan Pablo Montoya, since ya know, that's what they new how to do before coming to Nascar.

Also I thought it was kind of interesting how most of the sponsor logos on Applebloom are for oil companies that would be competing against each other and thus would be in a conflict of interest for shared sponsorship.
